RE: TBM DV8R anyone have one or about too?
Received My DV8R yesterday and it looks great! Not a wrinkle anywhere and it looks to be built very well. Start building shortly. I tried to get the Prolink Gear Package from Dreamworks but they are not going to carry the DV8R set anymore.

RE: TBM DV8R anyone have one or about too?
Badass Jon!! Nice Video. The DV8R presents itself in the air very nicely, nice landing as well. The gear seemed to do very well. Do all DV8R front nose gear "wheel" stick out below the fuse? Any recommendations on flaps and steering servos? Thanks, Mike

Hey guys, I've been trying to get the Prolink Gear package but it looks like Dreamworks is not going to carry the DV8R set any more. Did they get the TBM gear issues worked out? Are they worth buying? Thanks, Mike

RE: TBM DV8R anyone have one or about too?
Just got it order this morning boys should be a good flyer!! Can't wait! I got the Aus Blue scheme but will do my own vinyl graphics for a possible NASA scheme. Do you guys think Hitec 5645's will work for all surfaces except for the flaps which I would use Hitec 7955. What you think? Thanks, Mike

RE: TBM DV8R anyone have one or about too?
That sounds good guys, I do fly from grass though but it's about 500' of well maintained grass. From some of the videos it doesn't seem that the Dv8R needs much power with that big wing and fuse to fly well. I will try and keep it light on fuel "60-80oz" to save a little weight. What gear do you guys recommend? Servos, landing gear, etc? TBM landing gear or Dreamworks? Thanks, Mike

RE: BEST 50cc CHINA ENGINE RIGHT NOW??
TruckRacer, Mainly bearings, rods, and the sleeve to the prop hub was the newest failure. Almost all of us have been running different brands of oil and mixtures so we really can't say one is better then the other. Not really sure what the answer is. I will say we do run our engines hard, a lot of WOT. Mike

RE: BEST 50cc CHINA ENGINE RIGHT NOW??
All good info guys! We had a fun fly today and lost another DLE. I think we are up to 7 or 8 now, needless to say we won't be buying anymore. It seems they can't get past the three year mark. Like you said you get what you pay for in this hobby.

BEST 50cc CHINA ENGINE RIGHT NOW??
Hey Guys, Need some real-world experience with these engines right now. Myself and other guys at my field have been flying DLE's for a couple of years now but it seems they can't make it past the 3yr mark. Bearings, rods, etc. I wanted to see if there was another brand with a better track record out there. I know most will say go DA and you may be right. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Henry, When will you be taking a pre-order list for the F-16? Also, what will the estimated total cost of the airframe, wheels, brakes, and trailing-link struts be? Thanks, Mike
