RE: The new Tornado sport jet
Just got back from Jetpower 2012, what an awesome event!!! We flew the tornado fitted with a JetsMunt VT80 and it kept up with best. Had many comments saying it was nice to see an real alternative choice off sports trainer jet which really looks the part without box looking lines. The black/yellow scheme was the most popular. Only the demo models came back with us. In light of the success of the Tornado V3 and JetsMunt VT80 combination we are now offering this as a combo option for £1750. This will be on our website shortly once I've recovered from the drive to Germany. Supply will be limited due to the demand for VT80's so get in quick. PM me if interested. For those who are not familiar with the VT80 go here. All components except the pump are housed inside the turbine making installation a snip. Power from this little turbine is amazing especially when you consider it is 500g lighter than the Kingtech K80F http://www.jets-munt.com/pb/VT80/VT80.html
ORIGINAL: asimace New brake valve from Jet Tronic. Can screw on any PET bottle such as 0,5-1,5 ltr water bottle or soft drink. Mauri
I looked at this valve and it certainly is very neat especially if using electric retracts. Cost on the tag was 155 euro. JetA1 offer electric retracts as a 200 euro option. Going fully electric would be my option. Just pulling together a electric retract and brake option for the Tornado and juggling between JetA1 and Electron.

Well we're nearly home having stayed the extra night. What a brilliant event, surpassed all my expectations. Great joint venture with FCT tanks, thanks Saleem and Mark for your support over the weekend and Mark for sharing the driving. At least I got a chance to go around the other traders to say high and to see some of the flying Glamping was an experience but a hotel is calling for next year without doubt. You live and learn On the a very successful event for us and nice to be going back with an van devoid of boxes. Ian

RE: Perfect Model Jet
That's right I do sell Tornados because I like them. Nice and easy jet hack. Keith asked for our Personnal choices. That's my choice and within my budget. Btw nothing wrong with springair retracts if fitted correctly, at least they come back down if the air runs out, and film covering is always liable to lifting especially if the model is left in the sun.

I must admit that for what I paid for the Jersey it would have had a variable speed control. May look at popping a Pot in the motor supply or go with the A123 option.

Thought you had to connect a battery to the terminal but now I realise that is the charge lead for a battery already built in. Just me being thick!!

Just taken delivery of a new jersey fuel can. Looks pretty good. I like the recycling facility to connect to the over flow of the tank Does anyone know if you can use a lipo battery in place of the recommended 8 cell NiMH battery?

RE: The new Tornado sport jet
With 2 x 2200mah lipo receiver batteries on one side and 1 x 2S Lipo ECU battery, located in the nose area just forward of the point where the canopy ends, the models balance perfectly with a Kingtech k80 on the V2 and a Jets-Munt VT80 (the VT80 being 3/4 of a pound lighter than the K80) You'll probably need more weight with the V3 & Kingtech, quite a lot I would say.

PayPal is a good idea but that doesn't stop purchasers demanding money back from the likes of Visa. Cash I think now is my preference. But PayPal may be a viable option.
ORIGINAL: TUMBLER It really bothered me that half the nose wheel stuck out the bottom. So with a little dremeling and about a half hour, I was able to carve out some of the nose gear mounting blocks and lower the retract so the wheel fully retracts. I am also making a mold for a new wheel well liner. I will make it out of fiberglass. If anyone needs one I can make one for you for say $20. Brian
Nice to see you went for the red white scheme that's still my favourite scheme although the yellow black scheme is pretty cool
