ORIGINAL: slayerphonics Anything that gets perma hard prolly isn't a good idea to use, id stick with modeling clay, Get a prop balancer http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_26_282/products_id/4870 heavy part of the tire falls down, you just stick some clay at the top, spin and repeat. simple as i can keep it
I agree with this statement, plain and simple

RE: engine temps
Id freak out if my RB WS7III was to get to 300, Id tear everything apart and find out why, but thats just me. My RB S5 had almost 11 gallons through it and Im keeping it as my backup engine, I even ran a 4 hour endurance race with it and temps never got above 215 and it had plenty of power and only flamed out once. the WS7III likes to run around 240, and I make sure not to go over that. 300 is high in my opinion, too high.

simple answer: denatured alcohol is a quick drying liquid that cleans stuff really well, it does dry out anything it touches though

RE: Any cleaning article for rc cars?
google search would probably yield some good articles for you. I can tell you what I do though. Remove engine and radio tray, spray simple green all over it, and then use a compressor to clean it off. Then I get a rag and toothbrush going over the tighter areas, then I armor all the plastic and use a little bit of silicone spray on the plastic to not let dirt stick to it in the future. If its super nasty, then I remove tray and engine and hose it off and then quickly dry it off with my compressor, and then either take the diffs out and remove any water or stick it in front of a fan for a few hours.

RE: What can i clean my nitro buggy with?
WD-40 actually attracts dirt, a silicone spray does not I use Silicone spray after air compressor, when its really funky I rip the electronic tray off and engine and fuel tank and dump it in the tub, let it soak, then replace bearings as necessary
ORIGINAL: Reb2973 Thanks MorganSS, I was going to get the bowties but tried a cheap bid on ebay for the panther chameleons, set of 4 brand new in the bag. I cant beleive I won them for $16.00. A set of 2 on towers is like almost $20.00. I will use these for starters. That big jump in the pic has the clay built up even with the side boards now, I think that was a pic of when they were

RE: Set-up for this track?
I run 5-7-2 at my track with no front sway bar, 40 shocks all around with mugen grey springs in the front and softer blue springs in the back, I will adjust preload spacers as necessary. We have a huge jump like that in your pic except for the HORRIBLE wooden sides, dont screw up and misalign your jump or say good bye to your A arms. You may want to stiffen up your sway bars because those little chicanes are going to be tough if your pushing on power. Looks like a lot of those little triples and doubles are quite steep, so you may want to mess with your shock fluids and stiffen them up a little. I like my buggy real soft, you may be different. I like crimefighters but if they are running wet then bowties may be a good choice to keep the clay from globbing on and making slicks. Mugen MBX5 Prospec (RB WS7 III)

lol at "hate the player not the game" 4 of my DIE HARD racers (we travel the country racing) bought them the first day they were out, and have been racing them since then. Well all of them hate have decided to dump them on sgrid and buy back their buggies. I could care less what people drive, Im just stating facts here, Im glad I stuck with the tried and true mugen. Ive driven the8, its a twitchy floppy ride, not my style, I prefer finesse

Did Mangelsdorf make it to the races? Two weeks ago he laid the smack down on Branham, yet the Mangler doesnt have a factory ride, I dont understand that, Mangler has freakish alien skills. I had to do something with the wife but Mikes Hobby Shop is a top notch facility, I wish I could have made it but Ill be there in two weeks.
