55"ws. Series P-51/P-47/Spitfire Comment/???
Have the P-51/P-47/Spitfire 55"ws series with retracts. Have flown P-47 4 flights, other two just once each. Each one is a real handful, very, no extremely touchy on pitch, 51&Spit were almost lost due to extreme pitch control. Did cg check on them, none were any fun to fly, was just glad to get them back.. Anyone else having this trouble??

RE: WARNING: Banana Hobby
On the SR-71, I bought one a month ago, crashed it 6 times in half on takeoff attept in grass and on a road. Tried real short grass at another field...she flew..and in 22 years of all sizes of RC models, she's my favorite. Not for beginners, needs lots of runway..and i mean lots. Once inflight she is great, although I did lose her 2 weeks ago after6 fantastic flights. I have ordeed another and expect it any day. I've orded several thousand dollars worth from Banana in last 3 months, I have had no complaints. I did have a bad transmiiter on the WW2 P-38, they responded and i never bothered to return it, I cna replace parts myself i want to. I really have been very happy with them, but people today are very picky.......your buying China cheap products, not $1000 models, I'm very very happy with everything i bought and i bought 10 jets, a glider, a few Cessna's. Just my 2cents worth.

RE: WARNING: Banana Hobby
Tried mine for a 1st flight tonight, used the short grass/dirt, she got off and wobbled and crashed, broke forward fuselage off. Epoxied back togther, took her out and used the road....same deal crashed after liftoff......did this 3 times till it was really toast. Last takeoff was better,,,,,,,had plenty of speed, very touchy after liftoff, uncontrolable. Watched several video's and all had same symptons, save your money on this one folks, $280 down the tubes. If you watch the videos closely, the control surfaces are not sycned properly, when a wing drops and nose at same time only one elevator responds up, resulting in a roll and nose down movement..

RE: HAND LAUNCHING JETS
I hand launched my F-86 fine tonight, tried the F4 off the road.........crashed several times after liftoff...........got pissed off and threw it into the air as hard as i could and it flew.................did this twice...................it dove in after flying for 2 minutes from high speed flight..................who knows........tried my F-16....70mm.........took off from grass...flew real nice..........engine kept cutting out..........lost it on return for landing..............2nd flight. Been doing this for 25 years.........i realize that these things China junk.........some work well and some don't......F-16 ESC must have failed......the F-4............well.........who knows. I'll say one thing..............it took a hell of a beating. I think maybe we/I expect to much from a $150 foamy from China, now we'll see if NITRO stands behind and replaces the ESC for me.

Bought several of the NITRO EDF jets, Exceed F-4E, 70MM F-16, F-18, Banana Blitz F-86 Sabre. Been handlaunching since i only have grass fields to fly from. Have had 75% crash rate on hand launching, both F-4 and F-86 have crashed more times then not, any other method to this.............hand launched F-4 today and lost it 4 times, broke wing off...............F-18 did OK....F-86 is iffy..............batteries are up to peak......just a hairy event..........any options???

RE: AirField 70MM Brushless F-16 Electric Ducted Fan
Well I to have made my first flight today on my F-16, lot's of severe rattleing noises, BIG TIME NOISE. flew around and engine cuts out all the time, less at a medium power setting. I'm expecting it to fail anytime and for sure on next flight, I guess it's the above fan hitting the shroud and unbalance. So, does NITRO stand behind anything if it fails? I just went on a major EDF ordering binge and maybe it was a mistake. Aside from that it flew and looked great, sure made a horrible noise. I have the F-4E Phantom 21"ws version, flys good, 1st flt on the F-18, it flys nice. The F-16 noise is unsettleing, would you replace it with their 70MM fans they sell? Do you think they will stand behind it and replace the FAN UNIT?

RE: My experience with Exceed F4-E and Nitroplanes
i just bought one last week and caught the error.....it's really the manufacture fault to build it that way, no post on web site and a piss poor manual, really piss poor. That said I love the model after 2 flights and have ordered many more EDF jets.
