RE: WildHare 35% Extra 300 Build
PSP wheel pant support brackets ? How did you install them ? I am trying to follow their instructions and am baffled with them... As I have done in the past... I placed a ply on both sides of the wheel Pant. and mount the wheel with collars on both sides of the wheel... drill two holes in the gear besides the greer nut and install small bolts o prevent the wheel pant from rotating. PSP's instructions say to drill a 9/16"hole in the wheel pant so the hex part of axles goes thru the wheel pant on the gear side only. Is this right? Also is it the intent to use two support brackets per wheel? As you can see I am confused.... does anyone have a picture of the PSP wheel brackets installed in the wheel pant per their instructions or how did you mount them in the WildHare 35% Extra 300 ? RE: DSM2 AND DSMX RX
Need some help... just out of the hospital recovering from a hip replacement and after 3 months am back to modeling... Opened my two new AR 7010x receivers.. ready to install.. I have tried to bind the AR 7010x receivers with my JR 9303, it has the DMS2 module...... I had no problem binding the older 7000's. I followed the instructions.. and when turning on the reciever it flashes just once.. I then turn on the Transmitter holding the module bind button... NOTHING... Battery for the receiver is fully charged... When turning on the receiver there is a quick light flash and then NOTHING. I tried placing the binding wire on both sides of the receiver to no avail... What am I doing wrong ??

RE: I'll stand by my stats on the GCBM R/C 25cc...
Mike, I have to agree with W9YE... I have been having intermeadiate momentary cut outs of the engine at high speeds. Thought it was the plug and pulled it.. It was set at .16 and a .20 to .25 could be the answer.. Will change it anyway because I read that sometime the insulators get cracked.. Since this is a restister plug changing it would be the best.. I like the engine and it does well on my ´Spezio tu Holer´ (Home built Acft) It has a 80 inch wingspan and weighs in at 14.7 pounds. It is swinging a 17-8 prop.

RE: Upgrade from older Aerofly Pro Deluxe
Mike, The web site lists the program at € 119.00 which equates to $171.64. There is no mention of how to upgrade from the old version to the new by returning the original program.. I guess you upgrade by buying the new product. Or did I misssomething? Tower has the AeroFly Pro Deluxe (Win) for $229.00 and with the after Christmas offer discount it is $204.00. [&o]

RE: Throttle servo to close to ignition??¿¿
Sport Flyer, I have contacted CH and am awaiting his answer... I am going to change the servo and see if that helps.. BTW am using a Hitec receiver.... have read the threads on the PCM and PPM and it seems the PCM just masks the problem and it is still there.. Thanks for the reply ALL.. as you can see the last comments of others go back to 2004... Floyd

RE: Throttle servo to close to ignition??¿¿
I have a CH ignition on a 26cc weed eater engine. Range check with Throttle servo at full power engine running and the antenna collapsed the throttle servo goes from high to idle and then back to high.. With antenna extended.. no problem. Range check 100 feet. Throttle servo is 3 inches from the electronic ignition. Could it be the location of the electronic ignition or the spark plug? The Spark lead does not have a metal shield over the plug..

RE: OS 120III pumped rebuild
Bax, a question.. I have a OS 120 II with pump and have installed a new piston, piston pin, ring and con rod. I am having problems with setting the timing. I have a OS 4 stroke book on engines which depics the timing. It reads that you align the woodruf key at 12 o'clock and then set the cam dot at 6 o'clock.. I am not sure in the other comments on this thread but should the cam lob be at 12 when the piston is at TDC? Do you have a pic of the cam in possition ?

RE: Remove piston OS 120
BAX, NEED HELP FROM LATIN AMERICA. OS engine 4 stroke 120 III with a pump. Piston removal to install a new piston ring.. I see in the OS schematic exploded view the piston pin has a piston pin retainer. This appears to be a circular spring clip.. I am not sure how the pin retainer is held in place. On the side of the piston or in the piston pin ? How to remove it? I have tried many ways but a thin forceps might be the only way.. OR should I use the method you describe.. an easy out. Then upon installation put in the new piston pin retainer if needed.. I have repaired a lot of OS 4 stroke engines but this is the first one I have found with the piston pin retainer.

RE: Saito 150 BackFire Problem- HELP *x¿*u*x*
w8ye, it is the same in my book.. if you turn it in clockwise you lean it out... I tried to richen it by screwing out... got the idle OK.. did a transition after it got warm.. then flew a couple of turns around the field.. low on fuel .. landed and fueled up.. let the engine cool.. Started it up again.. idle OK.. then did transition to high.. and blew the prop 35 feet just missing a 46% Ultimate.. of course lost all the nuts and washer... Got to believe the timing is off.. Used new 15% fuel etc... new nuts etc... more $$ Bummer... Will be in the states in November.. will ship it to whoever you recomend... then... Floyd.. in the meantime will hang a OS 120 on the Dragon Lady...

Saito 150 BackFire Problem- HELP *x¿*u*x*
Saito 150 with over 2 gals of fuel ran thru it.. Have tried adjusting low end according to the manual.. to no avail.. Adjsusted the Valves to factory specs... Last time I started it and at low idle OK... then tried a high speed transition and backfired and threw the prop, nuts and washer.. only thing I found was the prop... VERY DANGEROUS.. Engine is mounted inverted and previously had a on board glow... the engine started to give me problems back fireing so removed it thinking it was the on board glow... What I need is advise.. First .. what is the initial factory setting for the low end.. the manual states to richen the mixture turn the setting clock wise.. if this doesn't try turning counter-clockwise... Hmmmm..
