RE: Futura 1.9m Build
Nice pics guys! :D Quick question, I've been enjoying my futura for some time now, but still feel like it needs some tweaking. Where is the GC on you planes? I feel there is a lot of difference flying it with full or emtpy tanks. With the tank empty it keeps climbing under throttle. So just checkin how you're all flying ;) Hans

RE: Help!! Want Smoke for my Jet
Even cheaper would be using turbine pressure (from the gas line) to pressurize the smoke-tank and using a mechanical valve for on-off control. Details are on the AMT site I believe. You'd have to use a strong tank though. Hans

Looks like there is only one connection to be made, (Apart from the optional alarm-led) Plug it in to a RX channel and go. What exactly is the problem you're having? Hans

RE: Smoke spryer at end of Pipe???
I did it on my SM Viperjet. Didn't work that great, all I got was oily grass at the back of the plane ;) Moved it right at the turbine, works much better. I didn't use the 'preheat' trick, so that might have been the problem. I'd say, give it a try, but don't drill all your mounting holes yet ;) Hans

RE: 160se throttle problem
Sounds like a similar problem I had with my P120SX, worked fine for a long time, suddenly during throttle-up it started spluttering. It did to to full throttle, but with higher than usual temps. It sounded like the fuel did not vaporize enough before entering the CC. (I suspected blocked needles) Could not fix it by altering parameters or resetting the ECU. Mine went back to jetcat and came back in perfect order. How old is it? If still under warranty it is probably a free fix. Hans

I've got it balanced on the wing-tube, nose slightly down. (Easy to balance as well, just slide the wings off a bit and loop a string around the wingtube)

RE: Need help with jettronic brake valve
What I did was slow the channel the brake valve is down so it goes from -100 to 100% in about 3 seconds, so the brakes are applied slowly. Hans

you call 180m short ? My field is half that [8|][8|] but on the plane, I know an Avond F15 with a p80 flies fine from grass fields of about that length. Is the SM much heavier? If not, I think you will be fine. Hans
