RE: Nitro blast question
The Nitro Blast additive formula was sold several years ago. After 5 years of selling the product direct, competing with fuel makers, I found selling it off more profitable. There are a couple.../itm/2-BOTTLES-NITRO-BLAST-RC-FUEL-ADDITIVE-Clearance-/200434942428?pt=Radio_Control_Parts... the same. When I sold the formula, we ditched the Nitro Blast website, as the new owner renamed the product

11.1 Lipo in a JR/Graupner TX?
I got some Lipos for my Graupner (XPS) /JR transmitter, and have been told that I will burn it up with 3 cells. Is there any known problem with this? Any suggestions/advise/warnings? Thanks in advance...

Thrust Vector on 2 Dog RC Yak 52 EPP !
Recently, I came across the new Hyperion Enigma. A new 3D ship that has Thrust Vectoring. Check out my post with video: http://www.wattflyer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60992 Well the Thrust Vector device is hidden by the cowl, but I went to bed dreaming about it... I woke up this morning, and after 15 minutes with off the shelf parts, this is what I came up with... The worlds first 2 Dog RC EPP Yak 54 with THRUST VECTORING! http://vimeo.com/21532495 http://vimeo.com/21560030 Super cheap, I used landing gear nose blocks. Off the shelf less than $5.00 for a pair of packs. Simple attachment at the motor base, add a servo, mix it with rudder and PRESTO!

RE: Polk Hobbies C-47
I bought one... and I'm going brushless. 2 Hyperion Z3006-28's each with its own 60 amp esc. Batteriesare Hyperion LVX 3300's x2. I've always been a real SPOOKY fan too, she's a real beauty: I can say that this was the best $25 airplane I've ever bought. I like the simple and durable blow molded fuse. Its not a scale contest winner, but its a C-47 that I wanted. I have it nearly flight ready. Balanced, and static trimmed. I'm a little disappointed with the decals, but I'm going to be understanding. They are probably 10+ years old in the box! I just could not get them to stick worth anything so I'll do something else. Ebay gatling guns for $1.99, and the faux interior works pretty nice. Sadly, lots of the gun detail is hidden, but thats cool, I'm not going for a Scale contest winner (but yes, there will be 3 guns). RE: Nitro blast fuel additative
Jetpack, thats a valid question. I went electric when a flying field opened within 3 miles of my house! Until then, (before Li-po and brushless) I thought electric was a complete waste of time. As far as the best fuel type in our testing we found it works better in cheaper fuels. A cheap fuel is made excellent (5 grades better) where a very good fuel is made excellent (only 1 grade better). It seems that the 4 strokes seem to like it even more than the 2 strokes, but only by a slight margin. We didnt find any mix that was not improved, so I dont have a reccomendation. The only thing that works as a claim is 'use it in YOUR favorite fuel'. I also still fly gas regularly, and have engines that are near historic class still running (just meaning a bunch of OLD motors) heres a couple:

Nitro Blast fuel Additive ;) Well as the creator/inventor, let me fill you with all... are real, and my list of customers that swear by it grows every month. Nitro Blast does... their engine without it. Every 'Professional' that tested Nitro Blast came back with the same statements: Nitro Blast does what we claim it does. Not many companies can say that. Often claims

RE: Hobby Lobby Cessna Skymaster Disaster
Thanks for that, I'll do it. I have plenty of Li-Po's. I'll just plug one in with the wattmeter first, and run a simulated flight and watch the voltages and get a good, safe time limit. Thanks again.

RE: Hobby Lobby Cessna Skymaster Disaster
I think I'm just going to add 1 cell to the pack, and run a 50 amp controller. Looking it over I dont see the real issue with power to weight. What I do see is a battery pack of questionable origin. No juice, no power. I'll add 1 cell, and make a pack out of better quality cells. Looking closer, heck man for $60 bucks this is a fun scale airplane that had servos motors and props. Deal.

RE: Hobby Lobby Cessna Skymaster Disaster
Well mine is already on the way, and after reading the posts, I figured I'd repower it from the start. Funny though as you watch the video's online, it doesnt look underpowered at all. I'll not do the nicad/brushed setup, brushless and lipos for me please.

RE: My Hyperion motor wont run at full throttle
I have several of those. Love them. Very versitile, and once you get the hang of them they really rock for the price. Be sure that you have it programmed for the correct voltage cutout. You can get programming details here: http://www.empirerc.com/titanmanual.htm That will let you get the cutoff voltage correct, and also change how it cuts out to a reduction instead of a full blown cut off.

Black, White and Bright
The "Black and White" part is easy I'm sure... This is my AIRFOILZ Edge 540 done with just the Black from the kit. I left it as 'plain' as possible, not using any of the real nice red vinyl graphics on it for a specific reason. [image]http://img435.imageshack.us/img435/8191/11527319qs.jpg[/image] Powered by a Hyperion 2214-20 brushless with a Titan 20amp controller. Hitec 555 Rx and Waypoint HS servos. 10x7 slo prop, but that may change.... [image]http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/6240/11527323ia.jpg[/image] So, you can easiily see the Black & White.... I had to wait for a bit to get these next pics... I think its worth the time to watch this!
Ok, yesterday I go to the field for some practice with my Airfoilz Yak. The video camera is in the flight box, and late in the day I ask Pedro to take the camera for a flight on his plane. Un-prepaired, only one camera angle, and not expecting to really make anything to a clip or two, but with a little bit of time, I think I made a pretty good video. Please take a look, and watch it to the end. I know the 50/50 opinions on music, and one person's favorites are another persons noise, but I think I was able to capture lots of the music tempo changes with the flight, and made some acceptable choices for tunes. http://www.nitroblast.com/video/Pedro_00011.wmv What do you think? This version is at a reduced rate and resoloution for a fairly pain free download, hosted from my own server. The original DVD quality version is sharp enough to see downtown clearly when paused, and is very easy to watch due to the refresh rate.

RE: Sportsman Avation Corsair on sale at HP
ORIGINAL: Big Daddy-RCU 1 Does the Corsair seem to be built well and strong?? 2 Do you think a OS .61FX eng. would fit inside the Cowl without cutting a hole for the head?? 3 Are the retracts and bellcranks come installed allready in the wings?? 4 Do the decals come installed allready?? 5 Anything you dislike or wrong with this Corsair so far?? 6 Thanks for your time...
1 Very well so actually. I haven't seen the need to chase every joint with glue. 2 It would be very close, but I believe it would fit. With the radial design of the cowl you can mount the motor in the best position for exhaust routing easily (my electric wont need that!). 3 Yes! 4 Markings YES, decals no. The numbers are covering on the fuse & empianage, and PAINT on the FIBERGLASS cowl. 5 Not a single thing. Minor tweaks are in my desire, not my need to make it fly. Its a very nice bird. *note: The retracts are fully ready to go with a retract servo and great quality. No doors, so in flight theres the mains visible underneath. The covering job on this plane is IMPECCABLE! Completely flawless! I have been looking for a wrinkle, scratch, fold or something and I cant find one. The wood must have been extremely prepared for such a fantastic finish. You cant see a single seam or wood imperfection in the large volume of sheeted balsa.
