RE: will it fly?
no not much luck, my furthest flight was about 50 feet and barely got 6 feet off the ground, still seems underpowered. I havnt had much time on my hands lately but hopefully get something going again soon, i want to look for a different prop set up, a puller i guess? i dont know what its actually called but propeller in the front. I just want a fairly small, slow flying plane for now. but not as slow as the last one..

RE: will it fly?
thats what i made, it turned out pretty nicely but when i tried to fly it, it just didnt have enough power to stay airbourne for more than 20 feet

will it fly?
hey, sorry to be a noob but i have a 16t motor, pusher prop, other basic stuff needed, and styrofoam insulation, and the big 7.2v battery packs. is there any way a setup like that would ever leave the ground? ive tried making a few foam prototypes with no success

Electric Go Kart project
Hey guys. I just started a new semester at school, and our project is to design and build an electric go kart. There are 3 groups and we are all building one, at the end of the semester we get to race them. There are some requirements as far as the chassis goes, but im not worried about that. I am looking for help with the electronics part. We are aloud to use no more than 4 car batteries, any kind of motor we want. I can get transport truck batteries but was wondering if the extra weight is worth the power? Do I need to start looking for a speed controller or can I just use some kind of a contact on/off switch? any tips or tricks are appreciated. The project is semester long and i will keep you posted with pictures as i make progress if this thread gets popular. Thanks

RE: Mountain bikes..which to get?
Kona, specialized, trek and norco all make great bikes, im 16 and ive owned 2 konas,(i still have the kona shred. just got it) a trek 820, and a specialized hardrock comp. Ive never owned a norco but I hear they are good bikes too. If u get a bike get a marzochi fork, theyre the best.

RE: Project TLT-10
Thats an interesting shock set up you;ve got there. and a 10 TURN!! wow i thought my 27t was too fast, does it have enough torque for you? after a while your gonna wanna ditch that chassis and go with something better and get a stealth or R2 tranny. Good luck with the truck it looks good.

RE: Flame Thrower Exhaust
ive burnt it before and it burns kinda green, well the brand i was using did. You could maybe use part ofthe traxxas easy start, with the plug wire asttached to a plug in your pipe somehow, although im not sure that would be enough to actually ignite it. you could try.

RE: traxxas top speed claims
Traxxas seems to get alot of mixed reveiws, I always hear of people having such bad luck with their vehicles. But I mean you cant just drive the thing, it comes with maintenance. Ive never had a problem with my jato or either of my tmaxx's. I dont think traxxas is too misleading with their speeds, it would sound stupid if they said the tmaxx 3.3 does 43mph, so they round it, and sometimes they round up sometimes they round down, you cant hate them for it.
