RE: Help to unscrew flywheel
Do not jam the crankcase with anything!! trust me I ruined my first nitro engine that way. I covered the flywheel with a rag and used my glow wrench to unscrew the clutch nut. Then to take the flywheel off the crankshaft I held a blow-dryer to it for like a minute and it came right off.

RE: Racing
The most popular race-car brands are Serpent and Mugen Seiki. However track racing gets quite expensive. When you buy the car you are buying just the car. No engine, no radio, no servos. And the car alone is gonna cost at least $450 and a decent engine can be anywhere from $250 to $600. If money isn't a problem then by all means go for it! I just wanna let you know what your getting into.

RE: nitro rs4 3 Evo+ major idle issues
Is the carburetor pretty open at a neutral throttle position?? If so then I would turn the throttle trim knob on your remote counter-clockwise until the wheels stop spinning at idle. Then I would make the necessary adjustment to the needles and the idle screw. I hope this helps.

RE: O.S. .18 cvr pull star
Its the one-way bearing on the pullstart. Unscrew the pullstarter and turn it by hand clockwise. If it doesnt turn the engine over then it will need replacement.

I think your problem is that your either priming the engine so much that your flooding it or not enough that it can't stay running. Three words: READ THE MANUAL.

I've got a couple of questions. How much are you willing to spend? Does your racing class have limitations on how many ports your engine's sleeve can have??

RE: need specs on nitro tc3. all specs good and bad
The main shaft-driven competitor of the TC3 is the RS4. Same price range and great all-around. When picking a car you need to ask yourself "Which car does my LHS carry parts for?" You cant go wrong with either choice but at the end you gotta make the decision yourself.

87stanggt, this should solve your problem. Unscrew The servo arm and lift it off of the servo. Then turn on your remote and your receiver so the servo goes to its neutral position. Then screw the servo arm back on. Let us know how it goes.

RE: Nitro Guide and FAQs
vladconnery, I don't know how much experience you have with nitro rc, but I really wouldn't recommend trying to make your own fuel. The resources are out there but they are difficult to track down. You would have to buy the ingredients in bulk its a real pain in the neck. Before you know it your gonna be wishing you would of just paid the 30 bucks for the gallon instead paying around $1000 for the 42 gallon barrel of nitro sitting in your garage.
