RE: My main question?
Take up combat flying. You will be a better pilot in record time and flying with other planes in the air will become a non issue. Hey Vicman.

Hey vicman, Nice to see you are still here also. I wish I was closer but you are well over a thousand miles away. I have an unraced 428 plane burning a hole in my hanger. I guess I'm stuck sport flying for the time being.[:o]

RE: Where the ladies at?
I'm still here. I don't post much anymore but I still fly when the weather is nice. I still like a good Open B combat match or a trip around the pylons when I can find some action. Right now I'm getting into warbirds. I'm finishing a Hawker Hurricane for this summer. Please don't ask me how to get more women involved. I'm as lost as you all are. None of my girlfriends have any interest at all and they think I'm strange (I am[:)]).
ORIGINAL: vicman I miss North Wilkesboro, The Rock, and Hickory speedways. Don't really care about Vegas, Miami or even Tx for that matter. But I do fly me a lekkie once in a while. Nitro Woman, you still racing Q500?[8D]
Pylon and Combat have pretty much died where I'm at and I don't think electric pylon or combat will bring them back. Yes, I read the article about electric pylon. No, it didn't impress me. Cute planes though. Like I said before, I have nothing against electric. They just don't have any Pizzaz for me. If I want quiet, I'll curl up with a good book in my easy chair. And, If I electrified a perfectly good .60 size airplane then I would be a Knucklehead.[:-]

RE: Favorite R/C Club Webpage
What would really be cool is if club websites stated on their main page what city they were in. I have gone to many club sites (some from this link) and I cannot figure out where in the world they are. Just a city name dosen't cut it. I'm still trying to figure out where Alex city is.

RE: Tactic ttx404 2.4 ghz radio
I had to take a large break from the hobby due to some health issues. I don’t move around very good so flying has been difficult. I do have a Grandson that is old enough to help me and he is interested in learning to fly so I’m going to try to make a comeback. I miss the good castor/nitro fumes and the great people that goes along with it. I couldn’t resist seeing if you remembered me. Sorry to hijack your thread bassmanh.

RE: Muffler bearings problem, please help!!!
I've found that you can restore damaged or worn muffler bearings (ceramic, metal, or plastic) by soaking them overnight in Dihydrogenmonoxide. Be sure to use extreme caution because it is a very dangerous substance that can kill you in less than a minute.

I seem to recall that there was a problem a couple years ago with Great Planes epoxy. I think Tower was replacing a bad batch back then. Now it is probably too late for that. If I were you I would throw those away and start fresh.

According to the manual, there is dual rates on elevator and ailerons only. Were they smart and really put it on all three primary flight surfaces?

I play guitar (electric and accoustic) and bass (electric). I mostly play rock but I dabble in the blues. Now if I could fly R/C and play guitar at the same time, I'd be in HEAVEN.[8D]

YES, Flying Models. Still one of my favorites. I learn from almost everything written there. I really miss American Modeler, oops, now I'm dating myself[X(]. As far as RCM goes, to me it has always been an advertisers magazine first and a modelers magazine second. It could shrink into nothingness and I wouldn't notice until someone mentioned it here.
