RE: Waycross, Douglas, Tifton, GA
Hey man, It's good to see some Georgia racers out there. Sugar Bowl is a nice racetrack, but this one http://bellsouthpwp.net/r/c/rcspeedway/ is more convinent for us, so we just go there. I also heard there was a track near the Atlanta motor speedway. And always, in the back of the R/C Car Action magazine, they have track listings divided by state. Good luck,

Does anyone know of a motor mount for a brushless motor that will work on small block nitro engine mounts?

Trx 2.5 issues
I've had a Trx 2.5 that I have been running in a Nitro Rustler (1/10 stadium truck) for almost two years now. If I had to guess I would say that the engine has had around three gallons of Byron fuel through it. The three gallons have always been Byron 20% gen one. The last time I remember running the engine was in Florida (I live and regularly run the engine in Georgia) near the beach and it was running perfectly. When I say perfectly I mean a thin trail of blue smoke, no bogging at low/med/high range. I have been using a CVEC .12-.15 tune pipe on the 2/4 baffle setting. About a month later I take the said engine out of the N. Rustler and put it into a T-Maxx. I put the factory stock plastic pipe that normally comes with 2.5 T-Maxxes and I could not get it to start at all. I put the CVEC back on the Maxx and it would start fine but it would have a low end bog. I would have to gently ease the truck up to speed with no more than 1/8 throttle. Anymore and the truck would shut off. You could definitely hear the bog and it would eventually go away mid-high range but it would always come back on the low range. I tried new glow plugs (Megatech Q-Series (I've always used them)) and factory settings and that still didn't help. I eventually took the engine out and put it back in my Nitro Rustler and took it down to the beach in South Carolina. I'm still having the same issues. I bought some brand new Byron gen two 20% and it didn't make a difference in terms of engine problems. I've tried changing the baffle settings on the CVEC and even removing the spring/baffle/cotter pin assembly and running that with no avail. New fuel tubing didn't help. I've also tried using more tubing going from the tank to the pipe and new glow plugs and that didn't help either. I've cleaned the air filter and that didn't help either. I've removed the fuel filter and that didn't help either. I'm currently running the engine at five turns out HSN. The recommended factory settings are three to four turns out. I've tried leaning the engine and that seems to make things worse (It wouldn't start or stay running) Occasionally I would have to leave the igniter on the engine for maybe a minute or two because it would cut off if the igniter was removed immediately. I have no problem if the engine turns out being shot because it has been one of the best engines I've owned. It would start on the first seconds of pushing the the button and it would run strong. Thanks in advance

RE: Help with fixing a cracked case Novarossi P5
You may be able to fix it using epoxies like the above poster said, but the fixes might not last very long because the heat may have an effect on it. You probably will also encounter air leaks down the road.

RE: Dual fuel filters?
People are missing the point here. Dual fuel filters, or how many for that matter are used for longer run times in heats. The fuel filter(s) and/or extra fuel line is used for a little more fuel capacity. The filter element inside the fuel filter itself isn't that large volume wise and shouldn't really matter capacity wise if it is left in the fuel filter or not. In races, fuel capacity is measured by the fuel tank itself, not by the fuel lines or filters, so this practice is very common among racers.

If you haven't tried it out yet, your missing out.
I love traxxas. But they really dont have a choice but to give good customer service. They had so many faulty 12t titans in the rustler/stampede. I know the have a boat load of crappy EVX-2 esc in there new Emaxx. There are many people on there second or third EVX-2 esc. I f they didnt have good CS they would be close to ruined by just those 2 problems. Im still waiting on my emaxx(backorder) Im not trashing them. but there are people that bought there emaxx a month ago and still havent used it. Id be pretty lit up if that was my 350 just sitting there like a giant paper weight with at least 100 in batts. I just hope I get a good 1 the first time and dont have to pay to ship my faulty EVX-2 across the country.
Traxxas never made a 12t turn Titan and they sure didn't put any kind of turn Titans in Rustys or Pedes

XTM 247 questions
Hey guys, Been a long time stadium truck driver. My LHS was selling an used T-Maxx that needed some work so I bought it for $200.00. I need this thing to hang with my friends that have Mammoths, XT2s, and XLBs with big blocks. I have an XTM 247 lying around so I'm thinking about putting it in my Maxx. What chassis extensions can/should I use? I was thinking about the Fastlane Machine one or [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/RDLogics-T-Maxx-21-Conversion-Extended-Chassis-Kit-B_W0QQitemZ310016704710QQihZ021QQcategoryZ44028QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]this one[/link] Thanks in advance!

Help me pick out my x-mas present
Hello all, I'm looking for a vehicle that can handle just about anything I could throw at it. Since this is basically the definition of a monster truck I thought I'd ask for one. My budget is around $300.00 I know that won't buy any of the newer (best ones) like the LST2. My budget pretty much narrows it down to the TMaxx, Savage, or a Mammoth. I am planning on doing some insane jumps and just trashing it around. I want to know the best model that will be very durable and reliable. I'm not new to RC, but to Monster trucks. Thanks in advance, -Steppen

Very nice Losi there. I would definetly trade, because X-Boxs are $120.00 new, and since the X-Box 360 came out, the value of the original X-Box is declining ever so slightly.
