RE: Pepsi vs Coke
ORIGINAL: Alliance Jet The regular brand Pepsi / Coke are loaded with High Fructose Corn Syrup and alot of other grabage that will lead to serious Health problems. The Diet stuff has aspartane in it, aspartane will actually dissolve your organs over a period of time. Don't take my word for it got Dr. Mercola and you can find many, many , reasons not to drink it period. Mc Donalds food is loaded with MSG a Neurotoxin , look up Dr Blaylock and read what his research shows. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/11/17/One-More-Reason-to-Ban-Artificial-Sweeteners-from-Your-Diet.aspxndividuals who consume a diet high in artificially sweetened drinks are more likely to experience a decline in kidney function, according to a paper presented at the American Society of Nephrology's annual meeting in San Diego, California. Research conducted by Julie Lin MD, MPH, FASN and Gary Curhan, MD, ScD, FASN of Brigham and Women's Hospital examined the influence of sugar-sweetened and artificially sweetened beverages on kidney function decline in a group of 3,000 women subjects in a Nurses’ Health Study. This investigation reported ''a significant two-fold increased odds, between two or more servings per day of artificially sweetened soda and faster kidney function decline; no relation between sugar-sweetened beverages and kidney function decline was noted. The association persisted even after the study authors accounted for age, caloric intake, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, cigarette smoking, physical activity, and cardiovascular disease.
I'm gonna be dead in a week! Coke over here. I can't drink the diet stuff. I think it tastes like crap.

RE: Funtana X100
ORIGINAL: bryant.law I have a CRRC PRO 26cc gasser and I was wondering if it would be a good match for the X100? Any thoughts?
It has been done, with success.

RE: CRRC PRO GF26I
Walbro carbs are fitted to many gas engines that all do different jobs. Model airplanes aren't exactly where a majority of these carbs end up.

I believe any muffler that fits the Zenoah 26 will fit the CRRC.

RE: New Funtana 125
I e-mailed Horizon and asked when the Funtana will be available, but I received the generic answer. Apparently, they are aware of the delay and are working to make the plane available as soon as possible. Haha. While I'm not really happy with the answer, I guess I'm just glad I got a response. Horizon has a good rep. so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to fly one before winter. [8|]

RE: Funtana 125- Any one flown it yet?
Ooh, as soon as the plane's released, I'm getting one. I will be putting a CRRC 26 on it. The 40 is definitely too heavy for the 'tana, and from what you say, it is underpowered.

RE: CRRC PRO GF26I
If the spark plug was wet on your previous attempt then flipping the carb over probably wasn't the correct thing to do. I'm sorry I can't think of anything else to help you with your engine right now. Oh yea, those large starters will start to overheat after about 30 seconds of use. Give' em time to cool in between "starts."

Hmmm, I'm not sure what's going on... sounds like it's tail-heavy, but you do have a .91 in it. lol Is your engine mounted inverted or is it mounted on the stock angle?

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?
ORIGINAL: scrapveiw forgot to say, put the fuel tank right back to the wing tube and your batteries just rear of the ailerons , that should give you a very good c of g , i have no added weights (lead) in my plane. RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?
ORIGINAL: scrapveiw hi i'm new to rc universe, i just thought i'd add a comment about the harrier 3d , in my opinion it is the most stable aerobatic plane i have ever flown, i am running a full set of digi servos , a 3000 lipo battery and regulator and a petrol crrc 26 pro engine , the plane flies like it is on rails and hovers for fun , i had an ef yak 54 74" previous to the harrier and the harrier 3d 90 beats it hands down in every way including superior build quality .[:D]
Welcome to RCU! Yea, the Harrier is pretty awesome. I also have a CRRC, and I was wondering how well it fits on the Harrier. Are you using the cowl? Could you post some pics?

I've tried 87, 89, 93, and I can't really tell the difference. Mine still pops back when I start. Not a big deal since I put that jam nut on.

Nah, I think I read somewhere that the electronics are under some kind of impenetrable black blob. Best not to risk electrocution! haha The module is zip-tied and duct taped securely in the Showtime 90, so I'll tinker tomorrow. [sm=redface.gif]

Hmm, that is odd. A good starting point is 28-30 degrees BTDC, or just center the sensor between the screws.
