RE: How fast does the losi xxx-t brushless rtr go with ib4200 matched cell batt.?
my guess, arround 35... if you're looking for speed, its best to go with the stock xxx-t, and get a mamba or something. the design of that truck is to, get effeciancy, durability, an overall truck. What do you think of it?

RE: Which Is the Faster? (Twin Storm OR Traxxas Vilain EX) ? ? ?
the supervee is faster, i traded mine in the day after i got it [;)] it takes a new reciever and stuff, its really not much of a RTR. i have a villain, its a great overall boat, the twin storm came out after, it is faster.... I would go with the twin storm, just because the villain isn't much of a racing boat, it really slows down in turns..

first off, i want to bump this fourm up.... the t4 is a great truck, and we have to bring it back to the fourms. now, what is the stock pinion tooth that is on the rtr version? the one that goes onto the motor shaft.... im changing motors, and i need to go two below stock tooth, now i just need to know what that is.... what are some upgrades for the truck????? i got some things in mind.... this truck finishes in the top 3 in every race, it should be at the top of the fourms.... Rock on t4!

RE: Need Tips On T4rs race spec RTR
First off if you are losing rear oil take them apart and check the seals. Put new O-rings in if you are skeptical. I got a TC4 rtr and I had a leaker so I rebuilt it and it works good now. That oil is good i use it. Get CVD those will be smoother than dogbones. Titanium turnbuckles isn't a bad idea. Get the RPM gear cover. If you are just bashing get the RPM wide bumper. IF you are trying to get around a track use the mini. That motor is fine but won't perform as well as higher quality motors with the same turns. Trinity is a good company for motors. Are you racing just with friends or at a track? You said you wanted a speed control in your first post right? I have an Intellespeed 16t in my T4 and it is a good ESC for the price. As for setups go to RC10.com and look at what the pros run for different track conditions and then tune as you need from one of those base setups.
thanks, i will replace the o rings. racing on a track, with friends (non conpetitive). what turn of svp pro should i get? what speed controll? what are some better quality motors? that will get me over 35 on 6 cell, with respective gearing (under $100)

RE: Should I buy a Losi XXX-T Brushless RTR
stick with name brands first of all, traxxas, assosiated, losi.... i have a t4 and rusty, i have raced a few losis, there almost the same truck as t4, just with diffrent, logos, graphix, you get the point... there built the same... i would get a t4, some hopups, and a mm5700. for the money the brushless is nice, i don't think it gets over 35... [&:] i don't know tho... the truck is built on a brushless, because of reliability, i don't think the maker was looking for solid speed. thats why, for racing, i would get a starter like t4, then buy your own motor

got the shock oil..... i got e-maxx shock oil, it's 30 weight by assosiated... i've used it, but it comes out sooo quick... just a week ago it was full, now it's empty. Do the parts he listed make for a smoother drive system? once again, i would have them on order, but i cant find them.

RE: Team Losi XXX-T Vs. Team Associated T4
I have a t4, its a great truck. For the money, it is no ware near as fast as my rustler xl-5. my t4 looks like a lightweight, few pieces of metal, terrable motored truck connpared to it. Is the svp pro a good motor for the t4? if i get that, what speed controll? you would be happy with either, they have there ups and downs. i don't know witch i would choose, but i've never had a problem with my t4... i run with rustlers bashing, they brake more then me...
