Stinger 64 Edf Jet Hobbyking
I received my new plane today (yea another one once again lol) This time its the Stinger 64 sport jet from hobbyking. Its a great little plane that builds together in under 20 minutes. Foam quality is perfect. Stock setup is fun to fly but will be swapped to something better so it can do 4s instead of 3s and will be faster. Attached is the maiden flight video of today. Grts Dave. Hobbyking T-45 64mm EDF Jet Updated September 15 2011
Finally had someone with me to videotape the T-45 during takeoff and flight. As u will see in the video , underhand launching is very easy and the plane has power enough on 4 cell. Had about 4 minutes of flight time with the 3600mah 4cell and that seems short but its fun enough. Btw if u like the movie pls sub and rate Smile Grts Dave

RE: Parkzone Trojan T-28 upgraded
Its a really easy plane to fly indeed. The wildcat is a more difficult plane to control in the air but its fun also. But now that i have the extra 300 in the trojan its even more fun then the corsair and wildcat combined. I handlaunch my trojan most of the time but sometimes when the field is good and the grass is short then i tend to put my wheels on it and take off like that.
ORIGINAL: TTMT I bought the new ParkZone F4F Wildcat belly lander. I've trained on RealFlight G5.5 and I'm ready to start with an actual plane. Since buying the Wildcat (and not opening the box yet), I've tried the ParkZone Mustang, Corsair, FW-190 and T-28 Trojan on my sim, and the Trojan is clearly the easier one to fly. The Corsair behaved just as a guy at my local hobby shop said it did when he flew a real one. He said it tends to dip a wing and was harder to manage. That's exactly as it behaves on the sim. He said the Trojan was easier to fly and, sure enough, that's true on the sim too. Is your T-28 easy to fly? Can you think of any reason it may be easier to fly than the Wildcat I bought? Also, can you take off from a field with the landing gear or do you hand launch it? Thanks for your input. .
RE: Parkzone Trojan T-28 upgraded
I glued my wings on already since the day i bought this plane :) I never trusted that 1 screw wing........so a little epoxy fixed it all.
ORIGINAL: gwweber i THINK YOU SHOULD GLUE THE WINGS ON One screw will prob fail and you will loose the plane. I have a thunderbolt and put a power25 1200 kv motor on it with a 10/10 prop. It is ballistic with 3 cells and climbs out of site
RE: Parkzone T-28, Extra 300 or P-47
U can buy the T-28 and upgrade it with the motor and prop from the Extra 300 like i just did today. I can tell u its awesome. It has now been modded with the motor of the parkzone Extra 300 and with the prop of the Extra 300. The extra speed is very nice as it seemed to be 30 to 40% faster then the stock trojan motor. The only downside is that flighttime is reduced in half for me now. With a 3 cell 2200mah lipo i can fly about 4 minutes at full throttle now where as with the stock motor and prop i could do a good 8 minutes. But ohwell i prefer 4 minutes of good speed now with this plane. I really enjoyed flying it today and did a good 6 flights with it. Its a Trojan on steriods now hehe
