ORIGINAL: Oregon Craig RC Groups has plenty of activity, lots of smart posters, good moderation, and servers that actually work. Anything less is stealing money from advertisers. Just move over there and forget about this pile of shit. R.I.P. RCU [:'(]
The whole site seems fast and reliable now, 5 months later. I have enjoyed the seaplane forum here, and used to enjoy the parkflyer backyard flyer one as well. That one has been single-handedly ruined, but I'll miss the seaplane forum guys. I sincerely hope that all the advertising money dries up and the site goes -s up very soon. A sinking ship.

No. They are actively seeking advertising dollars. That will soon dry up if we are all lucky. RCU will then naturally go away. Sad but inevitable. Let the advertisers that are stilll left know that most of the time, the pages that contain their ads don't even load. http://www.rcuniverse.com/allsponsors.cfm

RE: What is all this torque roll, rubbish controls, nightmares with parkzone war planes??nonsense!
One of the reps from Horizon posted over on the more active forum site that cooling is not an issue. He assured everyone wondering that they did extreme tests without any overheating. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go ahead and make holes if you like to always be modifying things and think it is necessary. Can't hurt much I s'pose as long as you do a good job of it. Not needed however according to manufacturer.

I love how Carlos and Jaybird ignore all the gobbledygook gibberish and just carry on talking about model airplanes. This is after all RCU. Good show guys! [;)]

RE: Your Help Please
Not sure if it's considered "unfriendly" or not, but I'll pass. Not interested in clicking through to whatever that website is in the link. Maybe it's just me. Good luck though.

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B
What are you talking about? What are you ever talking about? Who is "blocking" you from Facebook and why are you the only one of millions that it is happening to? What did you just discover? That you can look at a forum, such as the Park Flyers & Backyard Flyers forum? Really? You discovered that? What are you talking about?
