RE: P-40 Brotherhood (All P-40's Welcome)
Hello to the fans of the P-40, Great idea for the brotherhood! Please include my brand new VQ P-40 that is converted to electric. Running a NTM Motor, pulling a 1000 watts on a 13 X 8 Prop with a 60 ESC. Great ARF - everything fit perfect! I see that a number of you had the VQ P-40 and have said good things about it. Photos attached.

RE: twin motor newbie!?
Did you cut one of the red wires from the Y harness going to one of the ESC's?? You need to do that when running a twin electric.

RE: good inexpensive 6 ch airplane radio?
dsyoung, If you really need to keep your expenses down, look at Hobbyking's 2.4, 6 channel for $25. Spare rec'vers are only $9. It's a basic radio with servo reversing, elevon option, but no dual rate. I have used one for 1.5 years and have never had a problem in use on 5 planes, including EDF jets, twins, and WW2 fighters. Binding takes all of 2 seconds. Just another option to consider . Another option is check out the local club's swap shop or ads.

RE: Bananahobby F-5e 70mm Tiger Scheme
Dear F-5E fan, I have been flying this plane for the last year and a half and it is one of all time favorite jets.( of my 13) It won't set any speed records, but it flys smoothly and groves like its on rails. Tthe rolls are truely awesome. I fly mine on a 4 cell 2650 40c pack. It takes off.../ plywood behind the nose gear strut and you'll never break the nose gear .2 nd issue , the fan

RE: Hobby Lobby FJ-3 Fury flying video
Hello, I have the silver F-86 version of the same jet. What a great flyer! That baby rolls like a drill bit. I fly in formation with my buddies Venum F-86, My F-86 can leave his in my wake. What a shame they nolonger sell them at Hobby Lobby.

RE: VK Nieuport 17
Dear VK N 17 fans, I also built this VK kit in 1970. Great quality kit in 1970 .I think it cost me $37.50 back then. Mine flew with a ST .56 2s swinging a 13 X.5 prop. Your choice for electric should be just find. I competed in an all scale RC meet at the Great Lakes old blimp airfield in 1971 with it and placed 10th. Good flying plane if you can keep it from nosing over on landing

RE: Toysonics Electric XB-70
Hi Steve, I have this plane, but I bought the kit version from TOYSONICS and have installed my JR radio. I am using a 4 cell,2200,40c battery. DO NOT put it in the far forward position. The plane will be too nose heavy. The plane actually flies very well and slows down for landing with a very high nose attitude. It can be sensitive in roll, so use expo or keep the total deflection less than is listed in the instructions. I fly off of short grass and have had no issues with the retracts. As a side note, try not to do your takeoff in a crosswind.Do you have your transmitter set to elevons ?. One servo plugged into the aileron port ,the other into the elevator port. Hope this helps
