RE: Will chipped main rotors affect flight?
They will eventually delaminate and then you will probably tear up more...btw if they are Marvick Fg blades thy are hollow and will probably split starting at the dings...ask me how I know!!!

Onyx at $79 with Ac adapter from Tower http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTCK1&P=ML although the BC6 is a much better charger but if price is the issue......

RE: Sanyo li-ion
Li Ions are good for low drain apps,(even that is debatable) nowhere as good as Lipoly or A123s, as far as current handling ability. The Lions used buy some in RC apps usually can handle 3-8 amps max in burst for a few seconds. Shelf life of a couple of years if well treated, starts the day they were made!! I managed a whopping year out of mine as reciever packs before I switched to A123s.

Orbit chargers are upgradeable via the internet...least mine is but not as custom as the Fma would be. Rc Accesory got my Bantam 902 upgraded for $25 to add LiFe so thats not bad also. Great charger as well

What he means is the muffler side of things...the 75 fits but looks like a hack job to get the stock muffler on or maybe a bisson??although I dont like them always found a power loss using pitts style.
equalizer plug is not one of the standard types.
Eflight,Align, Zippy, Dualsky etc all use the same plugs as the Accucell. Like the Bantam you have to connect the main leads and balance leads to charge (looks like they copied the Bantam menu as well)

The charge leads are known to have poor connections on the deans...check yours as that may be all that is wrong. Had it happen on other chargers as well.

Test your switches before you fly...turn one on then off and do the other next if your system is only operating on one cell (3.6v) I doubt you would miss it.

RE: A123 cells at Napa Auto Parts...
Me thinks some of you are talking cross purposes!!! Real A123s come in 2 sizes 2300 and 1100 can be found in Dewalt and Black and Decker packs labeled for consumers as "Lithium Ion" and Nano technology you can also buy them loose from various sources including Horizon. The other types of Lithium Ferrite out there is close to A123 Ferrite but without the patented NANO technology and would be just as good for recievers and as such Fromeco and others are selling them for that. Fromeco labels theirs as A123 or None A123. Some of the others are passing off the cells as A123 when they are not (maybe they mislabeled) Bosch as far as I am aware is using Emoli cells or whatever but it is not A123 or Lithium Ferrite and the cell voltage is up there with Lithium Ions so you would be back to Regulators and other such junk. Only way on some of the cheapies is to buy and test. Amazon is where I have got 3 packs from recently at 120-140 per pack also Max Tool. Prices are going up about $10 per month per pack probably due to the bleeping Olyimpics

I just bought the 600n for 349 from Heliproz (639 with os50hyper,muffler and blades)...free ship, crash damage cost according to one site is half of the Raptor...ave 22 vs 47 Dollars...all the guys here that fly the Trex claim thats true as they all have had Raptors as well.
be a wipper snapper
I wish!!! my mind sometimes is but the body/eyes are definately failing!!!. Im using a BC5 lipo balancer...works fine use it plugged into the 902 so it sees the cells or stand alone. I believe the BC6 says it is good for LiFe. I did check it agains the Cellpro and they both agree.

It seem like the cheapest out there and Ive had pretty good luck with Bantam, Ive got the 902 as well but dont want to lug it to the flying site and the Cellpro didnt do what I wanted. May have to look into it myself.

The Bantams LIFE settings are correct for A123s...use it all the time cutoff as per A123s instructions. Orbit Pocketlader also works real well, upgradeable via internet. Incredible small unit.

RE: rudder requirements
I got the rudder stuff from SWB, although he and I argued as to what size. It involved a bit of work installing but is a nice double truss setup. I think I went with 4.5 as otherwise it hit the fuse,he wanted to sell a 4" in. If it was offset towards the rear using a single threaded rod design that would have worked just fine, just get the offset right on the servo arm and with the horns. The SD uses a single threaded rod and its fine even tho the rudder is too big. At the time Al had plenty of Kletts, I see that both SD and Quique use something similar, you may ask them if they will sell some...otherwise theres only the Dubros and you could either use a continuous hinge (especially for the rudder) or make small hinges out of piano wire and not use the cotter pins supplied. I installed mine with Probond yellow glue as per Al, just make sure you wash them and sand lightly, been in at least 1 1/2 years just fine, and it gives you work time as theres a lot of hinges!!! Instrument panel I made from a jpeg I downloaded somewhere on here, used photo paper. 7955 seems to have a bit more torque than the 5955 so worth a look at.
