RE: Horizon re-releasing the Taylorcraft!!
Would one of you lucky R/C'ers who've received your new Taylorcraft please let me know what the width of the cowl is? I have an OS 1.60 twin that might work well if no holes are necessary. Thanks, Don

RE: YS CLUB
Just a note that may be of general interest to YS owners. YS Parts and Service does great work. Received, checked, cured, and returned a new YS 1.40 Sport in less than ten days. Warms the cockles of a modeler's heart.

That Cessna 182 by H9 is a beautiful plane. Has anyone out there tried or are considering trying one on floats? Would appreciate any info or advice. Thanks.

RE: Funtana X100
Thanks Railinbob, May try that with my 1.20,but still thinking of smaller engine such as Saito 100 or YS 110. I'm not too good at modifications.

RE: Sukhoi SU-26 MX build
Ballistic, Was slightly wrong on the motor mount incidence info. The correct data is zero degrees up or down with built in right thrust as per precut parts. Sorry.

RE: Sukhoi SU-26 MX build
Finally got in touch with Goldberg and was told that all their fuse sides are cut with a slight upward slope between first two formers but the motor mount box should build up with zero degrees upthrust and zero degrees right thrust. Also the stab cut out on the fuse sides is cut for positive incidence, even though it isn't shown on the plans, and is correct. RE: Sukhoi SU-26 MX build
Thanks Ballistic, Both sides cut the same. When laid on plans the upward slope is very obvious. Will check with Goldberg tomorrow if possible and let you know what,if anything,I find out. Don

RE: Sukhoi SU-26 MX build
Ballistic Have enjoyed your building reports and have started my Sukhoi also.Just starting to work on fuselage and noticed that the precut sides do not match the plans exactly. The side slopes upward a degree or two between the first two formers.Looks like this will result in engine upthrust when the firewall is installed. Also, the stab location on the fuse sides has positive incidence.Mine is the second edtion kit with plastic cowl and some laser cut parts.Does your have the same configuration??? Thanks,Don

RE: Sukhoi SU-26 MX build
Thanks for the interesting info on you CG Sukhoi. Am about to start one myself and have a question concerning engine cooling.Do the holes shown in the bottom of the cowl and belly pan enough allow enough air flow for an engine in the 1.20 four stroke size? Thanks for any info from any and all.
