RE: lookin to upgrade to 11.1v
Hi guys, Ive been using a, esky Lipo 11.1volt 1800 mah for the last two runs on my EXP brushless Tornado with no problems. Both the motor and the ESC stay at resonable temperatures. Is this ok, or should i really be sticking to the 7.4volt Lipo/Ni Mn/cd? The car is completely stock and brand new, so really dont want to blow it up. As far as Ive read, the stock brushless can handle up to 58A blasts. I know the above mentioned Lipo can deliver 61A blasts, so just slightly over. Shall i settle for 2 cell 7.4volt Lipos before i damage my Tornado? Speed is just mental wi the 3 cell Lipo!!! Will post a video soon.

RE: Turnigy Lipo, will it fit? 1/10 Brushless chassis
Hi guys, I have been using a 3s 1800mah 20c Lipo (11.1volt) in my Tornado brushless stock (only twice), fast as anything! Not getting any overheating at all. Im i likely to damage the ESC or brushless motor? What the biggest Lipo you can fit in it? Should I not be going over 2 cells? Also, im looking to buy a good lipo charger/balancer. Any recommendations? Cheers in advance.

RE: *RedCat Racing Tornado EPX Thread*
Hey all, I've just bought a Tornado. Was wondering if its ok to run 3 cell lipos on it. Have been doing so (twice) with no problem at 1800mah. Is this likely to damage the brushless motor or ESP??
