Which gearboxes for a Stug?
I have a sluggish Stug. Which Mato 2.0 gearboxes will fit? I should know this but I don't. Are there different shaft lengths? Also, I am noticing that there are no offerings for metal drive and idler sprockets on my usual websites. Mato only has them packaged with tracks which I don't need. I have an email in to Phil so hopefully there is some relief there. Perry

RE: Tank Newbie
I wouldn't recommend Mideatoys or an ebay dealer for your first tank. They are more a cheap place for people with experience fixing them. Since this is your first go at it you should know that they will break. Especially the HL's. Owning an RC tank is working on an RC tank. Go with Phil.... His site is RCtankwars.com Perry

RE: Off topic - rant
The problem with a thread like this is that the OP’s comments will be examined for correctness... really spend the time to make sure that their condescension’s are correctly parsed. If they do not have that capacity then they should have their posts proof read by others prior. It’s a common tense... shell, why so smug bro? Bad day? Perry

RE: Off topic - rant
Maybe spelling is not all it's cracked up to be. It's amazing how complex the human mind is and it's ability to decipher text to convey meanings. The excerpt below is from a recent study. In a nutshell it shows that what's important is the first and last letter of a word...! if you can raed tihs forwrad it. Perry
ORIGINAL: Tanque The usage of an apostrophe in the examples above is not correct.
Don't you mean "The usage of apostrophes in the examples above are not correct." Just kidding. For me it is the misuse of "to" instead of "too". Every time I see 'me to' I cringe. Perry

RE: Comic book Stuart
That's sweet. When I had my Stuart I went with the 40 cal paintball marker. Feed was always a hassel for me though with the bigger round. That turret is a cavern so lots of room to work with. Good job on your installation. 400 fps is doable in a 1/16 turret but working with established metal airsoft equipment has to be more reliable. Like your tank. Perry

get a non-S&S for $60 (what you wanted if you desired Tam/El Mod/whatever electronics). Those seem... spare parts bin helps. Mato wanted $110 and $40 shipping. Perry
