Round Rubber Servo Grommets
In the past I have purchased a small bag of round rubber servo grommets. I use them for mounting cowls on my planes. They fit snug, and keep the fiberglass of the cowl from rubbing against the metal of the screws. I lost the original packaging and cannot seem to find them. I thought they were from Dubro, but it doesn't look as if that is the case. I know Futaba sells Round Grommets, but they are quite a bit bigger than the ones I have. If anyone can help me figure out who made these grommets, and where to get more, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

RE: .15 engine in my HOR
My ran and ran OK, but the power was just unaceptable. Not nearly enough RPM to be competetive.

Partially melted case
Hi I have a 9c, and I had a charging mishap (Quick charger didn't stop quick charging), and the battery became very hot and melted the plastic of the battery compartment. It was a Hobbico Quick field charger mark II, I was wondering how I would go about getting my radio serviced? I need a new case, the radio itself still works, but the battery will no longer fit into the battery compartment. Can you help me please? Thanks, Allan

RE: Rare OS minitron Radio System
I realize this is reviving and old thread, but I just came upon a box of very old radio gear, all of it new in box. There is a t least 1 minitron servo in there, did anyone ever find any info on the value of this stuff? Thanks, Allan

RE: GP Profile 38, first flight.. Pleasantly surprised
Actually the OS 26 with muffler weighs in at 275 grams vs. the Saito 30 at 270. I would imagine the 30 puts out a little more power as well. I would stick with the 30's.

Mine is over a year old, and no receipt, so I won't be able to take advantage of your offer, but thank you anyway.

RE: Hobbico Quick Field Charger Mark II
Honestly it has been a great charger for over a year, it seems that one of the chargers has gone bad. I had a 1500 mah receiver pack, and now my 1500 mah transmitter pack, both were fried by the charger on seperate occasions. I set the knob to 1.5, and pressed the button twice to charge Nihm batteries, which were what the packs were. Both seemed to be taking a long time, and when I checked, they were hotter than hell and cooked. The other charge port seems to still be working fine. Like I said, I will be getting an Accu-Cycle Elite. It seems to be a higher quality charger.

RE: Hobbico Quick Field Charger Mark II
Mine just fried my 9.6 transmitter battery, melting the case of my Futaba 9c. thankfully the transmitter still works, just some slight case damage. It seems that only 1 port is bad on my charger, the other still works. I guess I will be buying an AcuCycle Elite as soon as I get the cash together.

Hey Mustang Fanatic, I would have to agree, I saw your plane at the Round Barn Fly-in, it is a beauty. I would love to see that engine run with the working manifold. Allan

Performance Specialties
I don't know if this is the correct forum or not, but I had a really good experience with these guys and just wanted to let everyone know about it. I ordered an Ultra-Thrust muffler for an OS 61FX. They shipped it with a tracking number through the US Post. The post office says that the pipe has been delivered, but I don't have it. The PO has no idea where it is, nothing! I emailed Performance Specialties, and they sent a new one out. While the second one is being delivered, the first one shows up(7 days after it was already delivered according to the PO, the box appeared to have been opened). So I just refused delivery on the second one, and it was sent back to Perf Specialties. I just wanted to say thanks, your customer service was excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from you again. Also the performance gain on my 61FX was pretty amazing. Definately worth the money, great product. Allan

Well I have a 72 4-stroke, so I would probably need a slightly larger plane.

No, Old bipes would be good as well. I don't need a 3d machine. I was just looking for a good bipe. WWI era is fine as well. Allan

RE: Speed Freaks Wanted
What is an MK prop, I've never heard of those before. Also, don't the Master Airscrew props flex at high revs, losing their shape?

RE: Speed Freaks Wanted
Hi, my name is Allan, I am a Speed Plane Addict. I have been a Lover of Speed Planes for about a month. and with the help of the Revvers Brotherhood I hope to make my planes even FASTER !!! I have a Great Planes F-14 with a 61FX on it. It's already pretty fast, but the ultrathrust muffler should arrive in a day or so, and that should speed it up a bit. Don't mind the fat kid in the picture. P.S. Which prop should I use with the 61FX and ultrathrust muffler? 11x7 APC or 11x8 APC? Allan

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
It's usually a pretty big event, I think we had 30 -35 flyers show up last year. Pretty good time, and lots o' 4-strokes! My last message kinda got off topic, has anyone used the Saito 82 and the U-Can do 46?

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
My father has one of these, and we were planning on putting a Saito 82 on it. Anyone try this combo out yet? The 82 weighs the same as the 72 but more punch. Also if you are in the Cincinnati area in September 18th, the HAWKS is putting on its anual 4-stroke rally. We are raffling this plane fully assembled with an OS 70 4-stroke, and a Futaba 6exa radio, ready to fly. So come on out and bring yopur 4-stroke powered plane. Allan
