RE: Mojo 40
mstam, Thanks for the reply. I have a Hype 3D with a YS 63. The engine is awesome. I think that is to much power for the MOJO. I was considering the OS 50 until I came across the Webra 50 GT which is lighter than the OS by 2 1/2 oz. Any input appreciated Chris

My planes always come out heavier than advertised too hmm??? I never read a negative plane review and I suscribe to 3 different mags. I guess they dont want to piss off their advertisers no matter how shitty the plane flys.

RE: mini katana or extra 330 mini
Both look Hot !! I just received my Kantana Mini. Beautiful kit. The looks of the Kantana are going to be tough to beat. I went with the Kantana because of the carbon fiber built into the plane. I read alot of good things about the Filton as well. Check out this baby. I am on the waiting list.http://www.atlantahobby.com/shopexd.asp?id=6017

rmenke, Well put. I appreciate both your knowledge and your opinion. I want to go with the motor that will be less troublesome, and the sound of gears does not appeal to me. I am in this hobby to have fun. Thanks again and I will check out that website now.

Brushless Gear box ?
I am buying my first electric. The plane calls for a Hi-max 2025-5300 that has a gear box or a Hacker A30. Does a gearbox have a advantage or disadvantage? Do they cause problems ?

RE: Help
Becomes garbage. I learned the hard way. I left my switch on from my plane when I returned from flying voltage went to low and I had to throw the battery out.

Hype 3D is the plane !!!! Irvine 53 is a ok choice but the ultimate combo is a YS 63. I am on my 3rd Hype It is a blast !!!!! It makes a ok pilot look like a pro. It is such a pleasure to fly. You gotta go for the Hype Chris

Dave, I took apart needle valve and carb assembly. Did not physically see anything. I blew out with compressed air from the regulator hole back. I will check it this week and let you know if it had any effect Chris

110 Too Lean
Dave, Running a 15x8 prop with 30% Cool Power. Engine idles, when I apply throttle she bogs down running too lean. High end needle and regulator have no effect. I took apart regulator all clear. I pulled off fuel line, plenty of fuel and pressure. What are your thoughts ?? Chris

RE: 140DZ Inverted Problem
Dave, This was the first bladder tank I have installed. I must say that it sucks out every ounce of fuel. It has two lines a vent line and the fuel feed. I cut a tee into the feed to fill with a fuel dot. I have the vent line plugged all the time only remove it to fuel up and when fuel comes out I plug it to fly. On the side of the tank is a vent or spill line if the bladder breaks ? Not sure here which is plumbed out and down that is not plugged. Chris

My 140DZ 18x8 Mejzlik turning 8500 rpm on 30% CoolMaster. Great power great idle. When I fly inverted the engine sputters like its not getting fuel when I roll back over she runs fine. I have a Tetra bladder tank installed set back about 10" on the CG. ????????????
