RE: Mig 15 With Jetcat P20 Build Thread
Thanks Dennis. I´ve seen in your previous posts that you choosed the eflite retracts and that they fitted well, proved by the photos. To bee honest, I don´t trust too much in the plastic housings and will try full metal retracts. If neccessary I will enlarge the fitting area in length and brightness. So the thickness of the wing will be the critical limit for alternative retracts. If it´s not too much effort, please could measure how deap the slot is to the upper side of the wing sheeting? Regards

RE: Mig 15 With Jetcat P20 Build Thread
Great job Dennis! I follow this thread since the beginning and can´t wait for the first video to enjoy the sound too. My MIG-15 is still on it´s way from HK to Germany and it would be very helpful to know the thickness of the wing in the area of the retracts. Better to say: how deap the slots are to see if one of my existing retracts will fit or which one makes sense to order. The bird will be fitted with a ducted fan only but with retracts. I think there will be not enough space for an additional air tank so I´m looking for electric retracts which are strong enough for grass operations with a fast landing (?), 7-8 pound jet. Thanks in advance and best wishes HJ
