RE: ESM LA-7 From VQ Warbirds
I think, that you chose good engine. It is not so big but not so small. And I think, that the size will be OK for the cowl. I have DLE 32 with the rear walbro and rear exhaust, it could be engine for this La-7. So, good luck with your process! I looked for the new camouflage and I found one. It is called as Kozhedub´s marking, but I´m not sure, because he had white rudder, but here is yellow, does anybody know if it is real camouflage?

RE: ESM LA-7 From VQ Warbirds
Yesterday I made a maiden flight with my La-7. The weight with the ROTO 35V is 7800g. The flying with this engine is really good, I think that the speed of this models looks realistically. The next step will be cockpit and retractable tail wheel. Here is the link for the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E11DCuiT5w&feature=youtu.be

RE: ESM LA-7 From VQ Warbirds
Thank you very much Kiwi. The take-off was very scary, but partly it was my mistake and partly it was caused by the cross wind. The C.G. I set in 155mm from leading edge I think that manual says 168mm. When I begin with the retract tail wheel I will add some pictures.

RE: CMP 120 Zero ARF Build thread
Hi Frets, I didn´t know, that Raidentech is the same as Nitroplanes. If you want to translate something, you can send it to me, and I can do it. I would like to have P-40. I had one. It was the small one from CMP. I can buy the ESM landing gear for the Corsair or for the P-40, but it is expensive for me. I thinking about the Top-Flite P-47. Now it is far future. At the first time, I have to make maiden flight with my Zero.

RE: CMP 120 Zero ARF Build thread
Hi Frets, I didn´t fly with Stuka on this air show, becouse there were very strong cross wind, and unforunately it started rain after the lunch time [:o] I flew only with my small Zero. Your navigation light in the tail looks really very well. If looking for the engine cowl, you can try this link: http://pelikandaniel.com/?sec=product&id=4751&lng=en it is distributor in the Czech Republic, but I think, that there isn´t problem to order in the USA from this e-shop. What about http://www.raidentech.com Are there any spare parts? I know "your" source for the spinners, but I haven´t experience with the shopping in or from the USA [:D] I would like to have the opponent aircraft for my Zero, so I thinking about the P-47 Thunderbolt, SBD Dauntless and maybe about the P-40 Warhawk and F4U Corsair, but the last two have "bad" landing gear. So, I would like know your opinion which one would be the best.

RE: CMP 120 Zero ARF Build thread
My Zero is almost done. Finally I have fibreglass spinner. The diameter is 90mm, becouse I didn´t find anyone, which would fit well, I had to made it myself. The next step will be the wing cannons.

RE: KMP Stuka-build details
It is good choice. I discussed it with my teacher, who I have on propellers and aerodynamic subjects, and he said, that good choice is 17x8 or 17x9 3 blades prop. I still use 2 blades 19x10, but the 3 blades is more scale.
