RE: Dm-1 Spec Engine Mount Issue
idk how much space is needed to clear the pullstart but you could try using washers to raise the engine mounts a bit.

RE: OUTLAW RACING. show me you outlaws!!!!.
I was over there with them the whole time under their tent hanging out then i left and went back home to get my stuff for my fusion and came back to make some passes after the finals were over. Did you test any of those dual glow plug heads there? Daniel was the guy with the touring car that wheelied into the tree? I wont be in Budds Creek since im not in the races this season. Next year i will be most likly. I definatly have a car that can run some good numbers.

RE: OUTLAW RACING. show me you outlaws!!!!.
m m M! VA Beach boys are a no show!! What happened? It was a good day by far and a very good day for me in the end. Made a nice pass when the motor was still cold... but when it got heated up, it was another story! I had to run w/o 3rd gear though but in 132 feet its not really needed i dont think, but that will be str8 next time.

RE: Fatsest Car out of the box!!!
Kyosho and Mugen id say are the cars that will be easiest to find parts for. Kyosho is the most expensive out of them.

RE: Fatsest Car out of the box!!!
ORIGINAL: jikkuria the schumacher has the parts availability issue in many area's and doesn't handle great. the 4-tec is also a very fast car, but again doesn't handle well. i think your best bet would be to pick up a used mugen 1/10 or 1/8 scale on road, as they are rockets that handle well.
They are both fast car but you have to have a perfect place to run it or you will tear the transmission and tires up. I had this problem in the past with an 1/8th onroad i had gotten for street racing. Those are rc track cars unless you can find the perfect parkinglot to run on. If so then Id highly recommend one of those 1/8th onroads. They are super fast and super durable.

Want New SmartPhone
Im with Verizon and my 2 yr contract is up next month. I really want to get the I-phone but verizon doesnt support it. Im not switching carriers because i believe Verizon is the best other than their prices. Will Apple be extending their contract to Verizon soon? I have the HTC XV6800 right now which was a good phone for me but time to upgrade.

RE: Hauls Booty!!
Well what i did when i had my menace (before i sold it) was drilled a hole in the shock tower so i could stick a screwdriver through it an turn the needle much more easily. Have no idea how the Buku pipes work, i use the CVEC pipe on my fusion an couldnt be more happier. It is very difficult to find another because only ones i see are the small block ones.

I been wanting to get in to electric helis too since i seen a few guys with T-Rex's at the hobbyshop in the past. But those cost as much as a race setup on a car or truck. (around $1500 when you get it rtf)

RE: What is better Odonnel, Byron or Sidewinder?
I used all 3 and between byron and o'donnel fuels, i cant tell the difference to which is better. They both are great fuels to use. I use to run 20% but nowadays i run 30% cause it seems to be better for most bigblock engines to tune and run I've found. I had bad luck with sidewinder so im not sure if it was me or what.

RE: Broken hex tip in the way!!
It didnt work and looks like i need to buy the part over and cut it off. Plus my attempt to get 2 stripped screws off another part looks like i will be buying those parts over... idk if its those RD Logics hex drivers i use or what but im sick of stripping screws and the tips wearing out on those things. Im buying a different set asap.

RE: Broken hex tip in the way!!
Djzachtyler, I think i would just destroy that area by doing so because a 1.5 hex is so small. Dale, its stuck in an aluminum wheel hub, im ready to do some cutting on it since all other attemps failed. Argess, you are right. I was tightening it and had a good amount of torque behind it when it snapped on me. The tip is flush with the grub screw so theres no way i can get a grip on it with anything. Reading through you all's ideas gave me the idea to just cut a slot on the grub screw and then back it out with a flathead. dont care anymore about cutting into the part as long as i can get the screw out and get a new one in im fine with it since that seems to be the only way. Thanks for the ideas, i will come back here if that doesnt work.
