RE: Bandit ARF...Any bad points.
I have to say as a n00b, (No Jet flying experiance). Of all the plane I saw in the air at Fresno Jets, the Bandit's were the ones I enjoyed watching the most. They were a joy to watch. Thumbs up to you pilots that were flying them.

RE: N00b Radio Question
ORIGINAL: tigrejohn Have you considered the Airtronics RDS8000? Its an 8 channel 2.4 system that is switchable between Aero and Heli modes. And its a lot less expensive than a Spectrum. Hobby People runs sales on this radio often for $149.95 for a no servo system.
To start I have a friend who is into RC. He's been doing in a long time and he said buy a Spectrum. I don't want to start out not following his advice since he has offered to help me. After I'm comfortable I may well move on to some other brand. f5air The clicks is one of my concerns. I may if I enjoy the hobby enough buy a second radio. I just didn't want to buy one that I felt I would have to upgrade/replace in a few weeks/months. Thanks, Guys

RE: Would you pay $78.00 a year for AMA if they offered PRIMARY insurance?
Some part of that $58 is for insurance already so I don't think that would be the number if AMA offered it.

RE: N00b Radio Question
Thank you. Searching these forums I had only seen one other person answer this. His answer was the same but he was a Heli guy or seemed to be in any case.

N00b Radio Question
I'm just starting in RC. I have a friend who has already been in the hobby for years and he will let me use one of his trainer planes and help me out. My question is I plan on flying Heli's one day as well. If I buy a Spektrum DX7. Do I buy an Air model or a Heli one? I know both can fly either with minor differences. But which one would you buy if just starting out?

RE: 1/8th scale B-1B
Drooling should not be a problem. I often drool watching him build that beast.
ORIGINAL: Hustler58 Not yet, Bob had to go to dentist. To get tooth fixed. (You here that Jetjon) He said he will have one sometime today after he quits drooling.
RE: Fresno Jets 2009 Photos and Comments
I don't know who the pilot was Saturday, but he should have let Jake fly it instead.
ORIGINAL: InboundLZ It was Rick Schrameck, I talked to him and got his contact info. He has offered to let Jake try out that bird in Las Vegas after they make some minor changes. The guy who was with them was part of the project and was from Germany. The jet had a Booster 160 and according to Rick he is the designer of the full scale version of this aircraft....
RE: My mSR related woes
At the risk of getting Tar and Feathered, are they a HobbyTown Usa? If Not Try them they have So Cal Stores I'm sure. I'm told they are a prefered E-Flight retailer. If the store in question is a HobbyTown, complain about them to corporate. EDIT: Looking again I see maybe that's Louisiana, they have two stores there too. RE: Mibo A-10 Video
You may be able to adjust it maybe not depending on your video card. From Microsoft: 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Performance tab. 2. Click the Advanced button. 3. In the Video Acceleration area, click the Use video mixing renderer check box. However, if your video card doesn't support VMR, you may not be able to turn on the Use video mixing renderer option. If your video card supports VMR, but you either can't turn on this option or adjust the video settings controls (hue, saturation, brightness, contrast), check for video-card driver updates from the maker of your video card.
