[:D]HI. i have been doing test as you sugested,.. i used shop fan first.very critical on the, radius and, gap set up.3/16 on a .65 radius is what ill use. the hinge pivot point is the real work. over 20 hours in it so far.. lots of ways to do it. i want it to come apart for painting. "thanks for interest." i wish the plane was larger so it would be easier to work out..will post pics for sure..

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
[;)]the fact ,that most post are makeing comments about ""ERIC"" and, if he "is", a, NICE GUY ,HONEST,HELPFULL,ECT. speaks volumes!! if its true, it does not need to be said...look,he sells turbines. not the best ,not the worst...priced way to high, some dont run right out of the box.seems to be ,quality control problems...some are great ,some go right back for repair..

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
[:@]i posted a few comments about j/c and "eric" and it started a war!! eric called me a lier .. guys "are" having problems with the j/c turbines ,but dont want to post them on here. they talk about it at the feild. all - say the will change to another manufacture. the "warrenty sheild", seems to make them more tolerant to eric and j/c. -because you are only allowed to praise j/c and eric,it takes away the impact of the forum to help flyers make a good choice on the product.. even "if" i liked the j/c tubines,i would not buy one ,just based on my incounter with ""ERIC"" you did every thing j/c required to apply the warrenty, and they still found a way to make you pay..sorry ,,but your not alone....[:'(]

RE: Adventures in fiberglass tank molding
[;)]use 3/4 oz. mat for molds. much cheaper and easier to use.they sell mat for, epoxy use ,now old days did not have it.. vynalester is the way to go .no hazard like west. dries in minutes. acid wont degrade it. sands super. no flex at all!!!!!!!!! west is to sensative to mix for me.. great job. these tanks had to be made with a 3 piece mold.

just purchased this f-16 as new!!
[&o]i just got this f-16 from ups. seller said was new never flown. true never flown.i was shocked to see the condition of the plane. some damage from shipping ,like gear doors, linkage ect.. no big deal.. but, there were many mistakes and repairs done out side the factory. called seller. he said it came from skymaster that way.there are sanding marks on wings, wood repair on top of wing,he said he did that ,but never told me of any repairs he did before purchase.he said he repaired the fuel tanks and pressuer tested them. the stopper is missing from one,how did he test it??the vertical stab and rudder is a mess. hinges glued in with gorrila glue. wont move.hinges out of alighn. called seller, talked and told me how to fix all this.. i feel he should have told me about work needed before i purchased it. i have some pics.. tell me what you think.. thanks [:D]
