Problem with the range of my radio
it's been some time since the last time i'm up here, whatz up~ need some help guys... Last week I’ve brought a Smartech Titan and I’m having problem with the range of my radio. After taking out with my friend, we found the Smartech radio suck. So we change it to my friend’s 40 mhz fm radio, but the range is still around 500 ft~600 ft… After checking, we found out it’s the Mechanic interference on the radio frequency from the gas engine. After change to my friend’s CY engine and Zenoah engine, it’s still a little bit better, but still... I really don’t have more money to change to a 2.4G radio and want to keep the FM radio. Is there any one knows about this Mechanic interference on the radio frequency from the engine? Can someone tell me what I can do to reduce this interference? Tks!

RE: Nnew 1/5th scale help!!
ORIGINAL: Smartechracing
ORIGINAL: Fudge The km looks cool, but the smartech cars don't have much upgrades for them from what I see!! I want something that I could upgrade to be really fast!! And I'm glad you mentioned 4x4, I have one m more question to go 4x4 would it be better to get the MCD or buy the FG and put the 4x4 conversion on it? any one know which one is better?
hi! for our Thunder Bolt, we do not have the hop up yet, but for the Titan, the hup up kits has been around for more then a years already [:)]
nice looking stuff, r they free for X-mas [:D]

RE: Project Coppertop...
ORIGINAL: Foxy
ORIGINAL: DarkFire989 You should edit that police emblem to something of your own. Like Foxy Police Department.[:D]
You did look closely at the imagery on the badge though, yeh? I could edit it, as I'm going to have to produce a 300dpi version to get stickers produced, but I dunno. I kinda like the GTA reference.
i think Foxy PD is better, the PD in GTA alway get bomb up or beat up... u don't want that happen to ur car [:D]

RE: Cheap 1/5 that can be later on hopped up?
ORIGINAL: naynay12 I would want a buggy that looks good, something like the baja. For some reason i dont really like the looks of the smartech traveller,if it looked like the baja 5b i would jump on it. As long as it is not to bi,and has ok handling i am satisfied. What is the duratrax firehammer MT a clown of? What engine does it have stock? And what FG car is the traveller a clown of?What engine does it have in it stock? The smartech traveller is nice and cheap, but i really dont like the look of the body and tires? Is their and other different shaped bodies for it later one?
Hey! Check out the new Thunder Bolt from Smartech, maybe this is the one ur looking for... [:D]

RE: Nnew 1/5th scale help!!
ORIGINAL: Fudge Hey guys. I am looking for a new 1/5th scale which isn't too much money!! Here are my 2 cars I'm considering: I was thinking of getting this car, instead of the real baja 5b, (I can get it for under $500 shipped on ebay) and later upgrade the engine, and stuff http://www.x-rover.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=183&zenid=86339b7579efbd8f55e9e401d629e3db Or this one instead of the MCD truck: http://www.x-rover.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=2&zenid=86339b7579efbd8f55e9e401d629e3db any in put? is this a good idea? I would upgrade them with the authentic HPI baja 5b hop ups, or MCD hop ups! I had a fg truck,, and loved it, but had to sell it for college, and want a new one now!! If these are too cheap quality can U give me a new idea for under $900? Unless any one has a fg or baja 5 that they would sell for under $900 as close to $500 as possible, I could pick it it in the NY or PA, or NJ area or something not too far away!!
I would say a Smartech Titan or Thunder Bolt would be great! [:)] It's not a 100% copy and it's not as expensive as FG or HPI and it's a 4WD [:D]
