AWESOME!!!!!! FIF would like to extend a huge thanks to BVM for their support to this event. I'll certainly be at the ticket table myself trying to win this really cool plane. Well,,,, Nothing left to do now but start loading up and begin FIF preps. Spent this past week gathering up golf carts, gators, trailers and much more. We start moving everything to Wilson on Monday morning. Cant wait to see some of you guys rolling in Tuesday. We'll have the runway open 0700 Wednesday to officially start FIF 2013. [b]One important note.[/b] As in past events, we will allow maidens at FIF but there will be certain restrictions. ALL maiden flights will need to be conducted prior to pilots meeting (7:00am to 8:00 am)Wednesday through Friday. [i]We will look at allowing Saturday testing depending on [/i[i]]early morning activities[/i]. As in the past, we want to keep this event as safe as possible. I cant think of a more open and safe place to fly a jet than Wilson, but we must take steps to keep it that way. If anyone knows of any needs to perform a maiden, waiver, or test flight, please let us know in advance so we can schedule it. Like everything else, we want everyone to have a good time at FIF and leave with a smile. See you all soon

I have to call them in Wednesday evening and write the big check! Looks like we have a LOT of folks coming this year. Its gonna look like the Circus came to town on Tent Row! The airport has OK'ed us to start putting up tents on Monday so we can insure all of them are up and ready for you guys on Tuesday. We'll start letting guys park their trailers behind the tents after lunch as long as they are all in place. They have around 25 or so to erect, so they'll need as much time as we can give them! [b]Need to have items mailed / shipped to Wilson? [/b] Just drop me a call/ email and I'll put you in contact with a good source. One of our event staff members lives right across the road from the airport and has again offered to accept packages, boxes etc. He'll bring them to the airport ( as long as they'll fit in a pick-up) and hand deliver to ya. He's a good dude and you can certainly trust him. Just let us know if you need him. One stipulation. Do not ship with "Signature Required". Like many of us, Gene has a job!!! lol Don't worry. He lives in a gooood neighborhood!!! To date, no packages have grown legs and walked off his property!!!! ;) More FIF details to come........................

All loaded up and ready to head north. Pulling out of North Kakalacky at 04:00 and should get there by 18:00.
