kyosho landmax .21 pull start broken
I just got 4 tanks of fuel through the engine, when the pullstart broke off. I made it a point not to yank too hard, still it just wouldnt stand the rigours of routine running. Im looking for an alternate to the pullstart. can i use a starter instead? if yes, looks like i'll hv to cut the chassis a bit. is that ok?

RE: Funkey edge540 ,1.20
Its the yellowaircraft edge. I test flew mine today. Flies "biggish". Has the landing characteristics of a trainer. The elev. rates need to be high to do serious 3D. High alpha knife edges are superb. I had my CG set at 4 inches on the root chord and it was flying nose heavy, so it wouldnt do any harriers. besides, elev. deflection was only 20degs or so. Inverted Flat spins were very flat. wouldnt do tumbles due to the CG.

RE: thunder tiger brushless motors any good?
motor is 2924/11. batteries are thunder tiger 1050 mah. prop is a 9x6apc. -what is the max. wt. i can use with this motor? -should i switch props? -should i switch to the thunder tiger 2928/09 motor since it rates 6-14amps and the rpm/v is 920. the 2924/11 has 1100rpm/v. does lower rpm mean swinging a bigger prop? -does the 2924/11 equate the axi 2208/34 in power? -does the 2928/09 equate the axi 2212/54 in power?is this more power than the other one?

thunder tiger brushless motors-performance?
Are the thunder tiger brushless motors any good? I installed a 4-12 amp motor on a 350gm bipe with a 3 cell 1050mah lipo pack. It doesnt give good vertical. hovers at around full throttle. im new to electrics. what am I doing wrong? pls help. ESC is blue arrow 18 amp. a friend of mine has a 250 gm monoplane that flies gr8 on a axi 2208/34. is my motor underpowered or is there something wrong with my battery? could it be a bad ESC?

tank setups on gassers
My DA 50 seems to quit on 7sec+ downlines. I think its bcoz fuel runs out in the pipes. what kind of clunk setups do you guys out there use? pls help!

RE: DA 50 quits on downline exits
I've already done that on ground. It seems to work ok only if the idle is high(around 2300rpm). I checked it by mimicking a 10 sec downline n then moving it up n level. It seems to constrict a bit but then it recovers. It works 80% of the times n 20% of the times it quits. I'm at a loss. I feel like it quits lean. Could it be that during the downlines fuel runs out in the pipes? if yes, how do i setup the tank so that the clunk stay in fuel at all times? what kind of tank setups do people usually use on gassers?
