RX8 wiring?
Just got me a Tekin RX8 system and had it wired exactly like my MMM so I could use all the batteries I had from my E-Revo brushless edition. Is the way the MMM wired the same way I want the RX8 to be wired to get the power from 2 batteries and not the long run time?

RE: NEED A GOOD 5S LIPO PACK!!!
Expensive but has very good specs which is what I am looking for. That chart you posted is very nice but I can't find anything on it that I want. I was planning to spend about $250-$300 on the battery, but cheaper is nice too if the battery is still a performer :)

Electric Losi 8ight-T 2.0????
I am thinking about going from my brushless E-Revo to a converted electric Losi 8ight-T 2.0 for off road racing. Can anyone tell me how the handleing, speed, jumping, and all would be compared to a E-Revo? Also, I am tring to figure out if the $600+ is worth it to switch.

HYPERION G3 VX 5500 MAH 3S 11.1V 35C
I am looking to purchase some new batteries and dont want to make another mistake (bought some Maxcraps) So I am looking for some FACTS and opinions on these. I am looking into these batteries and want to see if anyone has any experience with these. These will be used in a brushless edition E-Revo. I also looked into the Thunderpower 40C's. I think the G3's would be better especailly seeing how the Thunder powers are only 4200Mah.

RE: More power than 2200kv castle motor?
ORIGINAL: Maj_Overdrive You really don't need hardcase lipos for the E-revo with everything enclosed in the compartment. Hardcase will only make how the battery wires exit the compartment more of a pain as well. The Thunderpower lipo you showed above will fit fine on the left side, on the right side the battery connector will have to come out the battery compartment vent. Unless you want to extend and bend/twist the battery leads in ways you shouldn't. The packs I'd look into are the Hyperion G3 and NeuEnergy. I think you're on the right track getting some good batts and going from there. As others have said, any more power is going to require some drivetrain upgrades. Mainly the diffs. I always recomend shimming Traxxas diffs to take out any play for any high power application. Its cheap and helps them handle more power and abuse.
I wasn't looking at those for the hardcase, I wanted these for thier 40C rating. I have a set of these in 7.4V and the wires reach fine through the stock openings.

RE: Thunder Power RC 11.1V 3S 4200mAh Pro Race 40C LiPo Battery
They charge strange. Bounce around from 4.19v to 4.20 volts, wont hold it at 4.2v on some of the cells. None of my other batteries do this, Crapamps tells me it is normal and not a problem. I say BS, it's their crappy cells they use. A couple times the batteries ran like crap, the 7.4v thunder powers ran better and had much more punch. The cells dropped enough volts under load to make my ESC go into the safe mode where acceleration is limited because the volts dropped below the threshold. I have read MANY tests done on those batteries and they performed WORSE than batteries of LOWER specs and that were 1/4 of the price. Search around and you will find out what I mean from people experience posted on many forums. Other than all that, they are a great set of overrated $50 batteries that are sold for $400! LOL.

Even better, anyone have actual real life experience with these AND the Maxcrap batteries I had??? :)

The only polyquest I see that I would think about from hobbycity is the 4550Mah. I would like 5000mah+ with at least a 30C. They dont even have any of those in stock though. I dont see any flightpower there either, only the flightmax.

RE: More power than 2200kv castle motor?
Well I got the Maxcraps sold and want a new set of GOOD 11.1v 5000Mah+ 30C+ batteries. My first choice of these http://www3.omnimodels.com/cgi-bin/woi0001p?&I=FPWP6698&P=FR is not available till mid july!! I cant find them anywhere. Anyone know what else is comparable to these with the specs I am looking for? I can get those thunder powers but I am not sure the hard case will fit in the E-Revo trays. AND they are about $60-$70 more for the set than the flightpowers.....

I have not heard of many people that have actually tested those or many that have used them. I would rather buy something that I KNOW for a fact and is proven to perform as advertised or better.

Just tring to get attention out of this??? LMAO... Yea, Ok. I was simply asking others with more experience in this stuff what else is out there.... Anyway, I do have better tires. Proline 40 series road rage. It did make a huge difference compared to the ballooning stock tires. I just find the power of the truck kinda plain now. It is wonderful for off raod racing. Really a bit too much for that. That is why I am going to just get better batteries and leave it like it is now and get something else for more speed :) This is my off road racer, I tried a E-Maxx on the track and it was HORRID! The flux looks to be about the same but I cant say but I have a feeling the E-Revo would spank one around a track.

Oh, the local hobby shops I go to is the 2 hobbytowns around here, Phils, and Farmers hobby shop. Farmers also has a nice little track with races every friday night that I usually go to. I want to race, there is no monster truck class at the track I go to though, there aren't enough of us out there. We have to run with the truggies when we race. I also want to get my single streering servo set-up soon too. The stockers dont transition well on quick left right or right left turns very well, they are really slow in that.... The set up E-Revos out there hang and spank a lot of the nitro TRUGGIES ;) I'm not scared of nitros, they should fear me! lol
