Need help with rolling Circles
I've just started doing (trying) rolling circles. The problem is,when I'm half way around the circle,I allways begin to loose altitude. The nose just seems to fall? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks,Ron

Yup I have 2 of them, one with stryker motor/esc. and another with the multiplex motor/esc. It's florecent orange for a reason[X(]. It has been clocked (radar gun) at 114mph in level flight. The one with the stryker motor is alot more laid back at the mid 60mph range, depending on what prop I'm using. Your plane looks great![sm=thumbup.gif]

I mixed in some evevator with the aileron, and it started to track better, but it caused too much drag, and the performance suffered. If I had kept it,I was planning on setting the incedence,up about 1 degree. It also had to have quite a bit up trim on the elevator, for level flight (another problem, pointing to incedence problems). Even with the battery all the way back,it still kept the same trim settings! Ron

RE: Indoor Micro flyers who's is the best
By the term "BEST",are you talking about durable,or best flying? You won't get both in one plane! All the micros that "fly slowly" won't take a beating and not tear up! Unless it's some kind of EEP plane? Slow, and light, dosen't come with the durable feature! At least that's my experence. They are made to fly slowly, not to crash. Ron

RE: Anyone Flying a Pole Cat?
Got ALOT of flying in yesterday![:D] Temps were in the low 50's and 3-5mph winds! The Pole Cat was great! The Sukhoi XP (not so great)! LOL! 3 friends flew both planes, and said the Pole Cat was the Best flying micro they had ever flown! One commented that the Sukhoi flew "like a pig"! LOL! We adjusted the throws/CG and came to the conclusion that the Sukhoi dosen't improve much,(nose heavy,CG right on,or tail heavy! It just wallows around in the sky! LOL! I've since sanded all the "warts" off the Suk,pulled out the gear box/motor and re-set the thrust to zero-zero. It had alot of right/down thrust from the factory (might have been a goof up?) One thing for sure,I don't think I can make it fly any worse! LOL! The Suk dose do good stall turns though, but it won't fly knife edge! Even with the CG all the way back,it would loose elevation, plus try to "tuck" under all the time. I think it might be a wing incidense issue? (it's gonna get tore down alot)[:D] They all wanted to fly the Pole Cat non stop! In fact 2 of them ordered one last night from HH!

Little dimples ( more like warts) everywhere, but I've sanded them off,in a attempt to "clean up" the air frame. It also won't fly knife edge (I'm guessing not enough power) it has alot of rudder throw? I made alot of trim/CG adjustments to the Sukhoi and it flys better (not great) but better. This is gonna be a fun project! Trying to make a silk purse, out of a sow's ear![:D] LOL! Ron

RE: breaking battery connectors
[quote]ORIGINAL: kotori hello, my brother and I have been flying a pair of parkzone P-51's for the past month. This weekend, I had two pretty rough crashes that snapped the connector on the battery, leaving bare contacts exposed on the battery and a hunk of plastic blocking female plug on the plane. I am distressed over the losses, since we are now down to three batteries between my brother and I. Attempts at repairing the damaged batteries were only partly successful and not safe. Both losses were Eflite 150mAh batteries, one brand new from the store. so here are my questions: 1) have other people broken batteries like this before, or am I just that bad of a pilot? 2) what can I do to prevent damage to replacements? (and please don't just say 'don't crash') 3) what is the correct and safe disposal for the damaged batteries?
