RE: SAM's Pylonpalooza Warbird Race June 3, 2012
Ok I get it know, I realized after I wrote that statment I was adding up the times wrong, I also forgot that the time needed to be changed into seconds to be correct. So the breakout really messes you up, I didn't figure that in. Thanks for the explanation Babe

RE: SAM's Pylonpalooza Warbird Race June 3, 2012
Can someone explain on how the scoring is figured out on the last race? If you have 4 guys with 12 points how do you seperate them? What makes the difference from first, second, third and forth? Also I've added up the times of each heat and my total is competely different then the one posted, for some reason they don't add up, what am I missing? Please explain Thanks Babe

RE: Trashman Classic, September 24th &25th
Sean I'll have to admit that I think the YS is the way to go in the gold class, but I believe I can still win in the Silver class with my Tower .046. Thats if I can keep it in the air, for some reason I have the worst luck there. Babe

Can someone explain to me how the start and finish of a heat is timed? Does it start at the end of the count down clock and all the individual timers start there stop watches or does it start when each plane crosses the start line Babe

Ok, thanks Biff appreciate the info on the clubs policy, either refund or post it for the next race. Went out today for a few warm up laps, gained a little more speed changing to another prop. Sean might be out tomorrow for a bit. Babe

Tommy where were you this last weekend? Missed your smileing face. A few of the Sac. guys came to Fresno but not you... Had some fun watching your gang of guys racing each other in the 120 class. The Shaw brothers are one hell of a couple pilots. I seen your comment about your plane with the 515 square inches, you should of just showed up and flew it, nobody measures anything

RE: 2011 race planes
I flew the exact plane, it's a good flier handles well but it ends up a little heavy. I had a OS 120 for power with a tuned pipe it ran in the low 130MPH range, not exactly burning up the sky. For $99.00 thats a great deal

Skids you will probably have to deal with more then one Macchi this season. I also have the same Macchi Speedracerntrixie have but only powered with a little Tower .46, and my own Macchi powered with a YS120SC, hopefully should keep you guys on your toes. Babe

RE: 2011 race planes
Seems like alot of things are happening already in April, Fresno is having a Warbird race on the 9th of April, There's a float fly at the Eagles Rouge River club in Oregon April 15th -17th and now the Sac. race on the 3rd. Going to be a very busy month if I can make ALL of them. Getting tired of this rain and cold weather already, makes for some dreary days

RE: 2011 race planes
You have those imperfections also? I thought I was the only one that had those... Getting tired of this rain, need to fly more and get used to flying the new Macchi.. Shawn have you had a chance to look at that stuff James was going to use, Liguid Sheeting? Looks pretty good and easy to use but why do you want to go through all the trouble to paint a race plane, even though I did lolol but the next one will be Monokoat or some type of covering to keep it light Babe

James I keep telling myself it's just a airplane, lolo since there is only 1 race at our field this year seems like Sac. is the place to go. It's had it's maiden about a month ago and it flew OK, needs a few adjustments. Not used to 4 stroke engines and have alot to learn about them, but yes I'm going to race it and thanks for the compliment Babe[:@]

Thanks guys, I'll try the temp setting and see what happens. I know it really doesn't matter but it still shouldn't do it, and it would be nice to have a straight wing to begin with
