RE: Need Help with my Graupner Tipsy!!!
run the tape along the bottom of the wing, from tip to fuselage, because the wing flexes when pulling g's. When looking at it from the front, the wings will look like the letter U. Using balsa on that plane is total weight overkill. I ran a strip of the wide packing tape along bottom of wing, and another strip along the length of fuselage. Have 100+ flights so far.

The Aiptek IS-DV2 The IS-DV2 camcorder from Aiptek records videos at 30 frames per second in MPEG-4 Super VHS quality (640x480 VGA resolution) with sound. I had ordered this one a few days ago, and waiting for it to arrive. Thanks for any input.

There are combo's, such as these Ultrafly engine and speed control combo, that make things easier...especially since they are pre-soldered. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLVH3&P=ML

Didn't Tower Hobbies sell more Electric Flight products than Fuel Powered in 2005 ? R/C product manufacturers are businesses first, and the growing trend right now is electric flight.

RE: Hangar -9 Mustang PTS 2 blade prop?
Recommended prop replacement is 11x6. 14 inch prop may be too much for the .46 I use a Master Airscrew 11x6 wood, and Tru-Turn P-51 Spinner. Here is a 90 page thread on the plane http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3102050/tm.htm
ORIGINAL: rsCVN-71 When I got home the center hole on the prop is to large for the motor shaft. So how do I go about fixing this Thanks Randy
You need a Prop Shaft Reamer. I have used a drill bit for 2 blade props in the past, and then made sure they were balanced corectly. I am not advocating the use of drill bit's in place of a prop reamer. ****EDIT**** Sorry, didn't realise you said the hole was too big. If the holw is too big, you cannot use this propeller.

The ground handling on mine wasn;t that great, so I replaced the tailwheel with this one. It was a direct swap, and now it ground handles nice and straight at all speeds. Maybe its because it's a little bigger. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXFU89 Sullivan T-4 Tailwheel 1-1/2"

Yeah, I'm just getting anxious waiting for delivery of the engine. ;) I'll post my results. **EDIT** Is it required to have a fuel stopper between the fuel tank and carb, as stated in the manual ? I haven't seen anything like this before.

O.S. FL-70 onto NexStar...Can I use original engine mount ?
Howdy, I'm planning on putting an O.S. FL-70 onto my old NexStar. Does anyone know if I'll be able to use the original engine mount ? I'm hoping that I'll just be able to swap motors without haviong to install a different engine mount. Thank you for any info, Ramone P.S. If you ask "Why ?", I'll answer "Why Not ?" ;)
