RE: Taylorcraft crash
Hello, Whats so hard about changing the bolts after several flights. The're cheap from Lowes or Home Depot. I've never had a failure and carry several spares just in case. Oh! I build my own stuff maybe that's it... Rick

RE: working on starting an aircraft company
Hi guy, The problem with this is you'll spend a ton of money on equipment, research and labor to turn out a nice product. Someone comes along and splashes a mold from your product and undercuts you... happened to Byron several years ago, the're no longer in business. Sorry to say but save your money and build for yourself.. Rick

RE: rustoleum epoxy appliance paint
ORIGINAL: WhiteRook its probly fuel proof , but can you use it on wood?
Hello, Yes, after a long drying period. When I last used it I let the paint dry for about a month. Use the normal prep for finishing and it should last. If I remember right it only comes in three colors. I was using 15% fuel. Rick

Get your airbrush out and airbrush a small bug at the end of the trail. Tell them it's a custom paint job. You'll be the envy of you club. All the ARF flyes will question you to death on how they can do it on their planes..... Rick

RE: Will Duplicolor from Auto parts store work on Solartex?
Hello, I've been doing the same as Tom with Rustoleum and automotive hardner. I use up to 30% nitro with no effect. I'm now using water base color and automotive clear coat with no problem from the fuel. Wear saftey equipment when you spray this stuff, gives really bad headaches... Rick, who loves to sand and paint.
