RE: best truggy?
Go see, Gerald @ actionrc.com check out what they are running! maybe pick up a used one in good shape locally (kit w/spares) pick up a good radio, servos & bump box ect. more cash up front, but worth it over a RTR. Servos, radio, engine & up-grades will cost much more in the long run w/ a rtr

RE: Hyper ST Diff oil setup
I use 10 10 3 on most tracks Ive removed 2 small gears out of the center diff making it a 6 gear set up. I run 40-45 in ft shocks & 35-40 rear I suffered a on power push in a sweeper after the track grooved and became slick. This was mosly caused by using the wrong tires! I did not have any at the time, But have place an order!! Try Robs set up @ Ofna.com Works very well for my driving style.

RE: Seagull - Harrier .46 Anyone had any experience?
Hey guys, I need a little help. I just bought a harrier from a swap meet, ready to fly for $250. It has all JR servos and radio gear. It has a saito 91 4-stroke that runs like a dream. I just wanted to know the recommended balance point before I flew it (don't want any unwanted surprises). Thanks.

RE: what do you guys think
yeah id say go with the picco .26, cos ive got one myself and not had many problems yet. i only had to change my spur gear and clutch bell for smaller ones because they didnt leave enough clearance for the air filter. alot of people have said this is because of the ofna mount and that a traxxas bb conversion kit sorts it all out.

RE: Pitts Pythons in Customs now
I have used the CF tubes/Monokote since the spring--many, many flights. Holding up great, and you save 1/2 pound! I used the scoop with my DA-50, and only a small cutout for the exhaust; no cooling issues, although I don't do much hovering, mostly IMAC sequences. The plane is not suited for IMAC, IMO, so I'm gutting it and putting the DA-50 in an AirWild 29% Extra. Am trying to sell the Pitts 12 with servos, and if it doesn't sell, will put my old MVVS 58cc (pre-Evolution model) in it. It was just too heavy for the DA-50--limited vertical. But a fun sport airplane...

RE: Pitts Pythons in Customs now
I have noted the original mark that we used for balancing is mistakenly 1" forward of the proper location--plus we held it up by the wingtips, which John said is improper technique. So, we had a "way-forward" CG! I will use 7" after the rebuild(doesn't it stink to have down time in the flying season?!?). That is at the aft end of the recommended CG range, which according to the instructions, is 6.5"-7". Are you saying that yours was at 7.5"? And with that CG, it flew nice? When I do the test fly after rebuild, I'll remove all mixes, set throws to recommended, and start the trimming/mixing process all over again.

RE: Pitts Pythons in Customs now
I crashed mine two days ago, and in similar manner. Was doing touch and goes in mostly calm conditions, with an occasional gust of 10KTS, or so. Approaches were pretty much directly into the wind. Just starting the round-out at about 2 feet, and it suddenly nose dived. Not sure why. I've never had anything like it happen in all my RC expereince. Ripped the right main gear off, and trashed the cowl and one wheel pant. No other damage. Luckily did not bend the muffler, which had buried both pipes in the dirt. Plane flipped on its back, but the tail did not break. I had strengthened it as a result of a previous landing flip damage resulting from catching a wheel in a rabbit hole. After consultation with John at Aerotech-rc, we suspect a too-forward CG. I am using 3" standoffs, and have 4 lithium ion batteries in the motor box. Three landing flips, severe knife edge coupling, and too much forward stick required during inverted--all add up to likely nose-heavy condition. After all repairs done, I'll move the batteries rearward, and really hone in on the correct CG. John says the proper way to balance this plane is to: transfer a line under the top wing center section, at the recommended CG. Hold the completely assembled aircraft under the top wing center section at that line. DO NOT attempt to balance at the wing tips. Can overstress the wings, and accuracy can suffer due to difficulty of transferring CG location out to the wing tips. This is my first Aerotech-rc plane, and I am very pleased with the customer service of the company. John got the parts out to me right away, and was helpful during phone support about the CG issue.

RE: Pitts Pythons in Customs now
Thanks much. I wasn't trying to be a wise guy about the "E". But after looking at the pictures, I believe it is E-powered. There is no engine exhaust, and the several large cut outs on the belly are typical of E-power cooling-air outlets. Regarding the DA sticker---it may be an E-conversion. And wonder if it is as large as 44%---only one servo per aileron?---but I'm not certain. In any event, it will be interesting to get to the bottom of the crash. 2.4gHz radio---or "dumb thumbs"??? It happens, even to the best of them... Thanks for taking the time to follow up. This topic is "off-thread", but I bet most would be interested in any further news--I know I am.
