RE: Pensacola Jets 2011 is ON!
There should be at several types of Boomerang jets there, one of the better trainers in my opinion. Both Rocky and Randy will be flying one at the event. Rob

RE: Pensacola Jets...
The earliest we can get the field at the moment is 5:30pm on Thursday. Both the Navy and the Airforce use the field for emergency's and low approaches during the day. I am going to try to get it a bit earlier in the day if their flight schedule allows it, but its 5:30 for now. Rob

RE: Fei Bao fuel systems. (F-18F)
I replaced all the brass tubing with 3/16, and used larger tygon tubing. Prior to doing this there was so much drag on the system, it was collapsing the UAT. I also y connected the two smaller tanks in parallel to the main tank. I am using a Rhino. Rob

RE: Toe in on F-18F's
0 degree toe-in is fine on the F-18F, I have mine set to 0 (to clear the doors) and it tracks perfectly straight. I had one main gear that was loose, which resulted in 2 deg toe-out on one side, it still tracked just fine. Rob B.

RE: Skymaster F18f Flap problems ***HELP!***
I had the same problem, for me it turned out that what I thought was a full up flap was actually a couple of degrees too far up. The bottom of the flap should be a straight line with the bottom of the wing. The last couple of degrees of too much up flap really put a load on the servo (it was not binding, it just had less mechanical adavantage, I guess). Rob B.

RE: I got a Hornet!
Hello, I have the FB F-18F, which is the same as the Skymaster. The doors work fine for me without a sequencer. You may also want to try a BVM air micro switch on the nose gear to close all the doors, rather than an electronic valve. Rob B.

RE: Please advise -Skymaster 1/8 F-16 flaperons! - Why can't we use them!
Hello: I had mine set up exactly as you did with the flaps down and the tailerons working, after about 50 flights. I would recommend not using the flaps on the test flight because while the model flys nicely with the flaps, it was difficult to get the nose up high enough during the flare to land on the mains and not the nose gear, which makes for an ugly landing. RE: BMT 120 KS Turbines
Ruizmilton Nothing is really "wrong" with the motors, we have had them 7 years. The injectors for the kero start wear out and you have to replace them periodically. One of the engines has a fried circuit board under the cowl caused by the bushing in the starter motor wearing out. They are great engines, its a shame that you can't get parts anymore. Rob B.
