Siegel Modellbau - Laser FA
Has anyone imported anything from this company? So far my emails replies are in German and the google translator is spotty at best. They produce a few F3A planes - High Society - Wizard (bipe) - Sharona and Laser. Appreciate any help. Thanks -Rob

Sorry to say - but the more I watched the vid, the more it looks like pilot error. Low power on tumble and a fulll power stall. Great looking plane.

RE: Can anyone id the mfg of this YAK?
Its was manufactured in Italy by Eurokit and was distributed in the US from their agent in Canada. The distributor in Canada is no longer in business. Here is the web site to Eurokit in Italy. This actually shows a picture of your Yak at the top of the page. http://www.eurokitlucca.it/ashop/ -Rob

RE: Help - Plane ID
Its built in Italy and was distributed by a company in Canada called Eurokit - They had a number of kits like this design including an 83" Diablo (my Fav)- The company also specialized in retracts and landing gear for jets. I believe Eurokit was also the name of the maufacture in Italy. There is a hobby shop in Italy called Jonathan.it (ck sp) -Do a search- they might have more info for you. If its any concilation, their kits came with virtually no instuctions.

RE: Windshield-washer pump + Speed controller
The rubber seals in the pump will break down when exposed to the smoke fluid and become all gummy- the pump will then leak in you plane = one heck of a mess. I tried this years ago. -Rob

RE: 1.60FX on Perry success story.
I have never tried to run the engine without a pump so I cannot comment on whether a pump is necessary. I use the pump because I have the tank way back on the CG. The engine has about 1 gallon thru it and never an engine out....(touch wood). -Rob

RE: CA Models
Read my last post.....inspect what you expect (or sell). There is no PP bashing on my part. This is typical of many companies. Bottom line, no one wants a cowl fused to the fuse regardless if they are (quote)"selling off what they have left but are not supporting them beyond what's left" Just open the box and look inside before you ship....right? -Rob

RE: Fly R/C ???????
I just received my first issue (May 04). The review of Todds models 'Attitude' on page 58 looks interesting and I am very impressed with the model. However, the photos showing the pilot hovering the plane (2 pics), look like the plane OR pilot were super imposed to give the impression of close in hover...or maybe, I received a bad copy?? -Rob

Motor/Battery question
I have a AXI 2208/34 and 2cell li-po 1200 mah 7.2v batteries (and Jeti 08-3P controller) on a shockflyer. Is this combo OK? I noticed most people using the 2 cell 340mah -7.4v battries. Is this because of the weight? Thanks -Rob
