RE: Am I the first? Will I be the last or only?
ORIGINAL: Hossfly Yep, ol Hoss Fly received his LETTER of REJECTION this Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. You best act as if you do not know me, never heard of me, and never will associate with this black listed individual. [;)] [sm=cry_smile.gif] Ol' Hoss used some XXs in his post and that is considered VULGARITY in the great Academy of Model Aeronautics' Forums. I have been banned from AMA Forums for one month. [sm=red_smile.gif] No ''Wwarning Tickets'' over there. Therefore, may I suggest that you be very careful how you react on that forum. Maybe it would help if I start practicing being a better boy here. Whatever the case, things are getting tough all over. Be NICE! Red and Frank run a tight ship over there.
Well, your little buddy has been campaigning for stricter moderstion. Maybe he got it. If it was just cussing then maybe deleting the post with a warning would have been more appropriate but that would require more monitoring and adminstrative duties for the AMA employees. Maybe a month in the hole is their warning. Though Frank and Red are fairly active on that site, they are not moderators, and it's a little bit paranoid to imply someone is out to get you because of your past history with the AMA. Some of your later posts were pushing the limit. I did like the one where you were headed to the loo to give birth to a DXXXXXXt though. [:)]

RE: [Deleted]
If you already have a full $58 open membership you are covered no matter what you fly. If everything you intend to fly is under 2# and 60MPH you don't need the $58 membership and you can sign up for the $29 PPP membership. Of course you give up a few other perks with the PPP membership. You'll get a different magazine (Park Flyer) and reduced insurance coverage amounts. You will also have no vote in AMA elections. If you belong to an AMA charter club you will need to check with them first about membership with a PPP designation. It is up to each AMA chartered club as to whether they will accept PPP.

RE: MA Financing Issue Put to Rest
ORIGINAL: KidEpoxy even though you have been asked repeatedly here to provide it you/we dont have that number
And I have told you repeatedly that I don't care. Evidently you singularly do, so why must you waste my time and yours when you could ask the folks with the #2 pencil behind their ears? The issue was/is does the gray text money go to MA's bottom line? Yes, yes it does. So says the AMA comptroller. Anything past that is of no real concern to me. I appreciate your intense need for something else to stir the pot. Go for it. Everyone needs some purpose to his life.
ORIGINAL: KidEpoxy but it is great, really sweet, to get the official MA accounting answer that $58 Open is really $40 Open + $18 MA cause that will be a great starting point for discussing in some other thread $58 OpenMA & $40 OpenNoMA options in the future. So obviously I am tickled that we heard from muncie that its $40 + $18, but left wondering about MA Ops $2.2mil OUT how many mil IN?
In your own words it is enough $ to zero out MA direct and indirect costs. Argue with KE on that one. You want that amount to the decimal point, ask AMA. Now here is a question for you. Why the obsession to have MA optional? Really. No BS. Where is the hue and cry for this. If it pisses you off so much to receive it throw it directly in the trash rather than pass it on like SB.

RE: Park Flyers
ORIGINAL: pri721 I will give you my thought on Airplane Modlers!!  I was a R/C boat guy for about 10 years and they are some of the greatest people.  I then got into R/C airplanes an soon found out that they or some of the biggest snot nose butt heads that you could ever meet.  It took me about two week of going to the feild to see that I would soon be getting out this sport if it was filled with these kind of people!! I sold my airplane about a month later!!  It was like if you didn't have a 5000 airplane or an endless pocket book they didn't have the time are day for you!!! I just bought me a Parkzone T-28 Trojan an plan on flying it in the back of my house!!! Not going to spend 58 bucks on a AMA and 100 a year for a club membership to hang out with these loosers!!!
What would they not do for you? Would they not spot for you or hold your plane while you started it? Were they just unfriendly and arrogant? Did you use the RCU approved and time tested coffee and donuts method of introducing yourself? I keep hearing about these snobby clubs but it seems I've never run across one in my travels. Usually folks fall all over themselves trying to make you feel at home. They must be out there though. It's like the hordes of parkie flyers I hear about. Never seen a single one but they must be out there because I read about them all the time on the Internet.

RE: MA Financing Issue Put to Rest
ORIGINAL: KidEpoxy Robo- so you just plan on never letting us know how many millions we have transfer? Its a simple question, no need for all your spin & misdirection. You said the MA financing was put to rest, yet you continue to refuse to provide the simple number (in millions) added to the MA bottom line ( & reduces the AMA Dues$7mil)
No misdirection or spin on my part. We have a definitive answer from the AMA. I have not added or changed it one iota. You are trying to spin off the fact that a long argued issue has been clarified and your pet issue and the ability to argue it has been seriously curtailed. If you want you can argue that the comptroller is lying but other than that the issue has been put to rest. Maybe if you want those numbers that concern you so greatly you should ask the AMA comptroller. He has numbers and columns and all sorts of neat stuff. He can give you an official, authoritative and accurate answer like he did with your last question. We can continue with conjecture and second guessing for a gazillion posts like with the gray text issue or just get an answer straight from the horses mouth. I'll look in on that thread for your question and the answer. Just follow the link I gave in the original post, scroll to the bottom, and ask away. Anything else is recreational arguing.

RE: How to handle a difficult pilot!
ORIGINAL: 804 If you have kids, is it right to allow one to break your house rules, while making the others follow them? At work, is it right for the boss to allow one worker to take an extra 15 minutes for lunch, while the rest are required to be back in an hour? The TUFF club has a provision for non-AMA fliers to fly up to 2 lb. models. Is it right to allow one guy to fly a 2.5 lb. one? 3 lb.? Where do you draw the line? The point is, equal enforcement of the rules for all. No more, no less. It is the only fair way to do it.
+1 It's too bad that CCCDAD and by association his club, have been put in this situation by a disgruntled former member. I do not envy his position. That being said, there are times when one must make a stand and this is one of them. Why should the people who come out to fly and comply with a few rules make an exception for one contrarian personality. He's probably that way because he's been able to bully and whine to get his way his whole life,. I see it too many times in all phases of life and community. I have a feeling, and that is all it is, that if you were to drop the issue for a bit, he would lose the "fun" he is having yanking your chain and maybe start voluntarily comlying or even better, just go away. There is more at stake though. What's next? A few folks who don't want to observe other rules? Where does it end and where's your moral high ground then? Perhaps the club, with the approval of the landlords, could change the rule so that it states that the AMA card "must be plainly visible." whether it's posted on the frequency board or worn on a badge or lanion. That could give both sides a little room to breath.

You and your oxpecker consider starting a thread that points folks to the AMA's comptollers direct answer is an obsession. Numerous posts that ignore that information is what?
