RE: Help with yellow FA-18 Single
Chippurg I bought it here on rc universe. It is a killer cockpit for the yellow single 1/10 scale FA-18. but it don't just fit right in, needs some major modification and I don't want to screw it up. After seeing that awsome turbine install this cockpit kit is the least of my worries. Tam has pretty much sold me on the jetcat P60. there is a hell of allot more to these things than my ducted fans. I really don't have anybody here in northern utah to get any personal help. So anything you guys can help with will be great. Lots of pics...... Thanx guys Rod PS: Shaun I would like to see that video please thanx Rod.montgomery@hill.af.mil

RE: cbm A-10 & midi fan?????
The instructions are great and it comes with an instruction video that show the complete process from start to fly. Built as the 40 pusher version requires alllloooootttt of wieght in the nose, therefore creates a high wing load. That is why I want to try the electric conversion. The lighter the better at my altitude. I need to know: what brushless motors can I use one speed controller what voltage Lipo's and a wiring diagram I need help I really do not know much about electric setups!!!!

cbm A-10 & midi fan?????
My only electric experience is with a zagi x. I am about 90% finished with the combat models A-10 I have built it extremely light, this is my third one. I would like to make this one electric ducted fan with the new 6 blade wemoteck midi fan. what brushles motors would be best coparably to rpm and price?? what lipo voltage and miliamp?? do I run them in series or parralel or both??? Do I need to speed controllers or just one??? There was a conversion done on the electric jet factory web site years ago and it flew fine with 540 can motors and 20 c cells. I think with all the new stuff out there this thing is cabable of flying extremely well, light, and for a decent amount of time. And sounding pretty scale. Any suggestions would be great. My knowledge of electrics is slim to none. Thanx for any help!!!! Rod Montgomery Clinton Utah ps my altitude in utah is 4400 ft.

new flyer
I am looking to get into r/c flying and am looking for a good plane to start with. I have been told that most trainers are not to good because one crash usually trashes them so I should get a zagi to start with. can any one tell me if this would be a good starter and what I would need to get started?

Any body know where the CG is on this
Sorry it is a long easy, and the canard had some major crash damage, that is now fixed. The guy I got it from did't know the CG and put it on the main spar. As soon as it left the ground it flipped over backwards. I will try that location and see what she does. Thanx for all the help..... Rod Montgomery

Any body know where the CG is on this
I aquired this bird in a trade, it has a fiberglass fuse and balsa sheeted foam core wings. It is not a Fusco kit. Anybody know who makes it so I can get a manual. Or where the CG might be, I didn't measure the wingspan but it is a 40 size plane. Any help would be great thanx Rod Montgomery

Need Help whith Y/A F-16 A Model
thanx guys for all your help! I just got put on 12 hour days at work, I think (I know) we are going to war, I work for Hill Air Force Base here in Utah. We do Depot level Maintenance on the F-16, I'm in, on, and working on these birds every day, so anybody need any scale details, let me know.... I have a few questions for you Shaun, I will call you, and Joe flyer, if you could scan them pictures that would be great..... My biggest question is the manual says to glue everything with CA, and to use 3/4 glass with CA????? Polyester resin wont stick to epoxy well (polyester is junk), but epoxy will stick well to sanded polyester, I think better than CA??? If I'm wrong let me know...... I paid $20 dollars for the canopy, and $20 for the aim 9's.., if I remember right... Thanx again guys for your help... anything I can help you on with the real F-16, A-10, F-22, C-17, C-130, B-2; that's unclassified, feel free to ask, I'll do my best..
