Power sources
I have a MaxAmp 12v power source 47A/575W and have no problems with it. I’m moving up to 5C 5000mAh batteries and need more power – volts. I haven’t read of this power source on either Pattern treads and wanted your opinions. Seems good to me but I’m knew at this stuff. Field charging
Hi all, I want to be able to charge my Link this word and every other one like it in our forum to YOUR Website! Lipo batteries at our field. We have no power there. 12v or 24v deep cycle batteries are what I want to use. I don’t want a genset, tough. I have a 730i Hyperion charger. What works? And, how do you figure out how many batteries can be safely charged from a deep cycle battery? Rudy

reversing motor then back
The motor on my Vanquish Mk II 48” with a Torque 2814-820 Motor and AirBoss 45 ESC with 4S 2700mah LiPo batteries begins running up in the reverse direction and then runs in the correct direction without my input. It flys like a champ. The setup was on my old M1 vanquish first. I have the same setup on my Osiris 47” with no issues. Any suggestions on how to correct it or what’s up with that?

Can you squabblers keep it to private emails? Keep your dirty laundry out of these forums. If I want to read this nonsense I’ll pay attention to the political rhetoric. It’s uncomfortable and degrading to witness.

Storage = Don’t forget to store them at 3.7 to 3.8v per cell and check it every once in a while.

servo gear strippng
MN48 Mini/JSP20040 servo - I use these servos in my E-Flite Ultra Stick 25e. The elevator servo has striped gears several (5) times to date this summer. Is there an alternative servo or a fix-it for this problem? This is getting old fast.

RE: Prop. Speed Calculator
Hello people, Here it is my question: I am trying to estimate the speed of a vehicle I am building. The vehicle is a submesible square box with a frontal area of 112.5 sq in. or 726 sq cm and all I need to know is how much prop sleep I should enter in the prop calculator. The propeller is a 3 Bladed Propeller LH 65mm M4 found at http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/plasticm4.html The calculator http://www.props4u.com/prop_chart.htm One more thing, anyone would be able to suggest a propeller that works LH and RH? Thank you

RE: FF-7: Difference Full Radiation to Reduced Power?
Thank you Bax, your answer ist very helpfull! 100mW (or about 96mW) in Europe too, ref to EN 300 328 V 1.7.1. My last guess using WiSpy was about 1mw reduced radiation already; about! During the next heatwave without outdoor activities I will check at a exactly constant distance of the antennas tip all my 2G4 obsolet (DX6) and actual equipment, one transmitting receiver (20dBm as they say) included.

FF-7: Difference Full Radiation to Reduced Power?
Hi FF-7 (T7CP) 2G4-specialists: I want to know this difference for evaluating some 2G4-transmitters by means of the Wi-Spy. First tests showed, that the diff is more than 10 dBm, e.g.15dBm, IFF the internal calibration of the WiSpy is correct. Using the FF7 seems to be a good standard measure for comparisons. Thanks in advance!
