Thats the problem Im at right now. Iv got the batterys wrapted up front and the C-G Is way off lol. I bought some 7.4v Flight power batterys that are really skinny, it should work. But thanks for the good comment, I think with a diffrent prop and batterys set it should fly![X(]

Yea Iv got a couple of props but this is a big prop, Iv got an x440 that does run better on top end..but omg this thing jumps out of the water like a rocket with this setup, it does run a bit hot but im changing it tommorow.

Ok so Iv been waiting on my buddy to clear coat the hull, I finally picked it up today and all I can say is sweet. The paint turned out nice and its all coming together well..here are some pictures of what all done so far. should be done late tonight, Iv still got to align the motor mount up and let the resin set awhile. Temps fine, that props kinnda small, I ran the 45-46mph on a 2-blade Grim 38/55... the Ul-1 always had this bounce in the straight wide open, and it was because that sloppy turn fin setup. If I was to build another since Im still new to this...ummm... probably the same setup as the VacuPickles there building with hydra120 and neu 1509 with 4s2p. Then a resonable 52mph an up i suppose...or Genetticos setup was awsome. Didnt his run hot??

This is a big issue AQU needed to take care of before releasing a boat that was already cracked as it shipped out lol.. kinnda lame but im honestly wayyy disapointed in this boat all around...Iv done sold mine cause of damage hull and the fiberglass work was terrible on mine...

Iv got mine in today..I ran an Ammo 2300 and the new aqu esc, runs great suprised me lol it rails great an pretty dang fast with this setup. Iv done taken it apart an started painting the hull.. im using a toxic green color..then when i get a motor mount built ill slap it in and get pics of the boat together... here some pics so far..(clear coat tommorow).. I dont wanna sound stupid lol [:-] but Im gunna part out my UL-1, Im using the Motor,ESC, Flex shaft, and radio system...and using it in my Vegas hull that has been sitting up awhile, it has no motor an esc, but honestly my vegas ran faster on 4s with old aqu brushless setup than my new UL-1. Odd?? Im having lots of troubles with that dumb turn fin, the hulls starting to crack, and Im not a fan of taping all that stuff lol, my vegas was around 48mph an Im guessing my ul-1 is around 43ish. [:o]

Well Id have to say theres more things to setup right out of the box on the UL-1, all my sv27's were just slapping lipos in and hauling lol but the UL-1 is pretty sweet skimming at 45mph...'s more pictures of the new UL-1. Ok my UL-1 came today!!!! I went ahead and ran the stock prop, with the Ammo 2300, on 7.4v 28c lipos, which almost never fit lol. I ran around about 6-8 laps wide open and never hit the voltage cut. The motor pushed 'the boat around 42mph-maybe 43 at most. Im gunna put the stock motor back in a run the grim 55mm 2blade prop and see the gains. Also the motor ran around the same temp as the stock motor usually does. heres some pics. I NEVER was a fan of the proboats ESC, come on I mean now aqu has 2 systems lol. proboats hull maybe faster if that gay wing was taken off imo. and had aj. strut ect.

's...but was worried about space and weight, and there big, well my last set was, the SMC's are over 1/2in smaller in length. Hope it works...Ill make it lol As for the Ammo2300..hmm, I cant really tell, Iv saw some really fast SV27's an hydros with this 2300 motor, ill test both... had 4 supervee's and they flipped so much...even trimmed out.[:D] so I need to get into hydro

Hello all, I just bought a white UL-1 with 2 SMC Hard pack lipos 28c 5000mah batterys for it, new Grim lifter prop, 55mm pitch, and the ammo 2300kv motor to slap in this bad beast...can anyone say that it will run around 48-50mph??? Im hoping this boat stick to the water in turns, does it handle mild wind or wake?

Ok well we have seen alot of Brushless Vegas built up, now we need to see some brushless Elams being built. Iv had this old Miss Elam forever now since 2002-3. Since then its been through hell lol. If you have any Ideas, or have one thats built alredy please post pictures. Iv looked on youtube and there are a couple done...but not many. So here are some start picture. Also, Im thinking of going with the new AQU ESC W/ a 2300 Ammo, will the boat see 48mph???
