I am New to tuning these engines and its a Learning curve for sure! But One thing i will say Mine Is the Same as far as Throttle Response "Instant" I just need the rest of the tune down and then i can have some fun

Had mine at that point as well Once then Shut it off I didn't want it that hot, Is the Low speed idle lean and high speed rich?, Are your instructions for the 8.0 engine or .28? FWIW I sealed my engine up today I really hope it makes a Difference

My Brother took his slayer and turned it into a Revo Basically with OS .21 TM, RPM Everything ect ect, Anyways My Body is a Little off But its not that bad JMO

I have another Question, Sorry I'm a Newbie to RC Nitro!, Why does OS Claim 3.3hp with this engine? I mean 1.97hp stock is nothing to sneeze at for stock I guess I don't understand The Over Inflation of hp numbers is ridiculous!, If i was selling my Pontiac Engines i build at 200hp more than they make I'd Have some Pissed Off Customers!, Now I somewhat understand an RC engine may be hard to test But it Seams AB and Others with this X dyno "aka Lie Detector" Should be Used for all of the Manufactures engines That Way when you go to buy an Engine you would be able to actually Compare True hp and tq Numbers, IDK Just the way i see it, Any Thoughts? The SC8 body is wayyy big for the slayer But could be made to fit the revo if you trim the wheel wells a little, My brother has both and We tried, The Slayer is way to small and it looks really disproportionate FWIW

Yeah Alpha Male has them and Does not have to chop the body they are only a tenth of an inch taller than stock! There is two sizes with a 5" wheel which i would need to cut my body to use FWIW

Thanks Adam! I think i will try the Ofna Purple shoe's with the 1.0mm springs and after those go maybe a Centax or Works, I haven't seen the Losi 4 shoe and I don't know who makes the Best or Strongest setup but obviously i need to Do it Right and Get a Decent setup, Thanks

I went and got the lightest springs today the .9mm and It Still is soft so time to try something different for mine, There was a RC Mag that swapped to the Alum and said the truck woke up pretty good FWIW
