RE: topflite cessna 182 plans?
The TF Cessna 182 is 1:5.5 scale I believe. The wingspan is 81". The manual is available online so no need to scan. [link=http://www.top-flite.com/airplanes/topa0300.html]www.top-flite.com/airplanes/topa0300.html[/link] I have a set of plans for the TF kit, although they're kinda beat.

Alan, Would be helpful if you contain all your 310 related questions to one thread. That's kinda how it's done. Makes it easier for everyone.

RE: Best scale photo!
Really like that photo. I'd have liked to seen it from a little bit lower angle. We should be looking up at the airplane. This view would be from a 9 or 10' person. Very nice photo though.

RE: Best scale photo!
I saw a model airplane fly by at a model airplane flying site. I think you've missed the point of the thread. Now if you posted a video that was shot in a way that we were challenged as to whether it was a model or full-scale, and could actually see something, that would be more in the spirit of this thread. Now, I know you're proud of your model, and I am not slamming it specifically...just your thinking that posting your vid here was appropriate. Next time maybe?

RE: Hi We Are Team Insane RC Racing
Welcome to RCU Mike! Just to let you know, we like when guys break up the sentences in their posts with commas and periods, and then start new sentences with a capital letter. Otherwise, it all just kind of runs on and makes it less readable. And, as RCU is not a social networking site like Facebook or MySpace, there is no "add as friend" stuff going on. Also, you'll find that this "clubhouse forum" is really more "air" related than "surface" related. Although this is not a rule, you'll get virtually no responses when you post Surface-related posts in the Clubhouse. You will find many more interested surface members at some of the RC Car related forums in the "Jump to" menu in the lower right. Again, welcome to RCU and enjoy your time here.

RE: Worlds Best RC Jet Pilot
D. All of the above. An excellent stick that is a pr*ck wouldn't get much play. Perfectly performed maneuvers done at "2 mistakes" high wouldn't get much play. Only being able to fly one particular airframe well wouldn't get much play. So, to me, it's the great guy with a sparkling personality that flies precision maneuvers just off the deck and can maiden just about anything, anytime, anywhere successfully. Kind of like a JOE McBRIDE kind of a guy! I feel the same about Ali, Shui, and a few others. I've seen Darcy Wingo do some nice stuff. And for rippin' down low arcing burner passes followed by monstrous hill climbin', my boy Dougy Anderson brings it! All great guys with excellent thumbs, and fun to watch. Doesn't need to be a number 1 for me. Just want them all to stay in the game for our enjoyment. Paul
