RE: Turbine Powered Airboat
Im sure the thrust vectored nozzle which is not in the picture yet, will direct the thrust directly aft, and vector to the sides for turning ?

RE: Everything Radial Engines
The microsens glow5lp only heats the plugs from idle to half throttle. And the glow strength is progressive from half thottle to idle.... very weak at half throttle, and strong at idle.

RE: Microsens glow question
Just the glow5lp is needed. The resistor I was missing should have been included with it in the first place. The glow balancer is not needed, but it is a nice feature though.......if you like extra gizmo`s [:)] http://www.microsens.at/shopping/product_info.php/info/p26_GLOW-BALANCER.html/XTCsid/af1ea71c50c3dd1e02378d879649a019 The microsens sure made my engine start and run better. The 3 cell nimh, or single 3.7V lipo with the glow5lp coompensates for the voltage drop, and makes sure the plugs glow steady at all times. When seting up the glow5lp, you actualy calibrate the glow strength with the throttle stick, so the plugs glow as bright s you want them too. It saves your setting when you install a little jumper on it after calibration. I think ill order a Master Airscrew classic 20/10 plastic prop, because I think it will idle easier with a heavier prop. The light 20/8 wooden prop I have now does not realy do it any good, as a flywheel would make it run smoother at low rpm. Are there any other props out there that are heavier [:)] ?

RE: Everything Radial Engines
wow... I just recharged my battery after messing around with the ASP for a while... those 5 glow plugs sure do use alot of power! I have some 4000 lipo cells, and i think ill wire up 2 or 3 of them in parallel. The 3 cell 3600 nimh wont last for many flights :-) You are right about the cooling. Temps here in Denmark are quite low too. Maybe i will have to wrap the cylinders partialy in with something to keep them at a good temp.

I use a 3 cell 3600 nimh. I hope it will be ready within a month or so. What do you use, and how many flights do you get before recharging ?

RE: F-104 WITH P200 ON BOARD CAMERA
I too have been looking at this plane some time ago.... For fun i layed up some pictures to see the scale outline. The white one is the Jetwelt kit. The green one is an Avonds kit...(picture scaled up to about the same length as the larger Jetwelt ) The scribed line picture is a scale 3 view of the original. It seems the Avonds by far has the best scale outline.
