RE: New Decathlons From Seagull 91 and 120 Size!
ORIGINAL: brancoli Hi Ian, Any pictures for Saito FG20 installed? I have a FG20 on the bench, seems this SD is a good choice ... Do you installed inverted? Branco
Well bad news , flying it yesterday and it went off tune a bit , so landed and noticed the needle valve extension shaking more than usual....any way whats happened is that because I used the NYLON engine mount that came with the kit , the mount for the carby and inlet pipe has broken from the vibes....a piece has broken out of the backplate.....very THIN AND WEAK with all that pumper gas carby hanging out there... My advise is to use ONLY A METAL ENGINE MOUNT , the heavier the better , I will be taking it to the importers and claiming under warrenty Ian

Im assembling mine now and have a Saito FG 20cc gasoline for it , lovley engine , will be installing that 2morrow......dont think there will be enough room for a bigger engine , they show an OS 20cc side mounted with the head/tappet covers outside the cowl.....the ply servo tray wasts a lot of space...gotta try and squeeze in a smoke tank Ian
