RE: 3PKS 2.4Ghz vs. DX3R
I agree, I'd go for the 3pks. At the track I go to there are several people that have the dx3r, I tested it and would never sell my 3pks for one of those... but that's just my opinion. Some people prefer the DX3r because it's lighter. I like a heavier radio, that's why i haven't bought a 4pk.....yet

RE: Futaba radio/receiver help
Have you checked if the BEC works, or since it's an old hornet it might just need a battery pack for the RX (4 AA batteries)

RE: IMPORTANT 3PKS SETTINGS
Hi, I've been running an analog KOPropo ps2174FET servo in HRS mode for 2 years now as the steering servo on my Losi eght without any problems. I know I'm supposed to use the PPM mode, but I bought this servo 2nd hand at a races after breaking the pignions in an Ace DS1013 and forgot to change the setting to PPm at the time. One week later I realised I was still using the HRS mode but since it didn't seem to cause any problems I left it like that and as I said that was 2 years ago. So I guess some analog servos can take it, although I wouldn't recommend it.

Not a single problem for me in more than 2 years with both 603fs receivers

RE: what is the most reliable esc for 16 pound mt?
Go for a Tekin RX8, you won't be dissapointed and it is smoother than the MMM. And if you combine it with a T8 motor it's even better. It will be as powerfull as your Neu and run cooler. BTW I have a 2250KV Tekin combo in my losi 8ight and I love it!!!
