RE: Scott from Brillelli ?????
Thanks Joe, I just wanted to say, anyone who has emailed me recently and not heard back, please email me again. Right now I have 530+ emails in my inbox. Most answered, but I know there are some mixed in there I did not so I am going to clean it out so I can manage it better.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
The 26 does not like to be rich. I would slowley try and lean the low a little and see if it gets better. I know on the test stand, if the low is rich at all, they start hard.

Frank, I would haqve to say 3 weeks for sure right now. I was way behind, but should be catching up soon here. Parts went backorder on the 26 for a few weeks. The pistons and cylinders were out of stock, but I have more comming now so will be building the next wave again.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
The 26 uses an 8mm bolt to hold the prop on. Most props in the 18" on down range are drilled to 8mm so no adaptor should be needed. I test them with both Mejzlik and Vess, and both are drilled to 8mm allready. It is also tapped to 10-32 for a spinner. Like Jake said, you may just need a little longer 10-32 bolt.

RE: Brillelli 46 issue
Azhar, It does sound like it could be a little rich on the low. The best way to do the low is keep leaning it until it won't transition. Then richen it enough to get transition back. Do all adjusting once it is good and warmed up. The thing is, if it is a little too lean it will do the same thing, so that is why I say to lean it until it won't transition. That way you found the point of being too lean and have somewere to work from.

RE: Brillelli is busy - so
GBR2- I emailed you a couple weeks ago explaining I was waiting on the filters. I never got a responce if you wanted to wait or a refund for the $8.95 order. I refunded it today because I am not sure when the filters will be here. The company I get them from actually makes them and can not gve me a good answer as to when they will be shipping.

RE: Help pulling Brillelli 26 apart
Randy. You will need to heat the hub up some. Just use a propane torch. What I do is bolt an old prop to the hub, put some starter rope in the sparkplug hole to prevent the engine from turning over, and then unscrew the hub. I use JB weld to keep it on so it will take a little heat to get it to let loose. If the crank is not twisted, it may be easier to have it straitened without removing it from the engine. I have done most of them that way. Then you do not need to remove the hub at all.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
It would be about 4-5 oz heavier. That is the problem with a rear dump. It takes a lot more alluminum to make it. I am not sure what a Bisson muffler would weigh, but it would be close to the same as the ones I make. 7-9oz.

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*
Joe, I am so happy you have it worked out. Now your shoulder will have some time to recover ) I personally run a 22x8 all the time on my EF Yak, but others like a Vess 23A or a PT 23x8. You will never over rev the engine with a 22x8 so if you are happy with the preformance and dont mind the prop rip, it will not hurt anything. I ran a 23A on mine for a couple flights and went back to the 22x8 Xoar. I just liked how it flew better with it. Every plane is different and everty person likes different things so just play with it to find what works the best for you.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
If you can snd me a pic of the engine installed, I can come up with somthing I am sure. It will be a little heavier, but it sounds like that will not be a problem. It will be quieter as well. There needs to be space behind the head for the muffler. A good 1 3/4". I use 1 1/2" pipe for that. I could use square tubing to make it a little less like 1 1/4" for some clearence.

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*
Joe, If you can, look at the fuel line after it sits for a few minuts after landing. See if there are any air bubbles in it. Not sure if you can see it with the cowel on. I am just curious if it is getting air anywere.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
Any muffler that fits a G26 will fit my engine. I can also make a muffler for it that is quieter. I made 3 different mufflers for it origionally and the one I chose was in the middle of noise and power. I can make it a little larger and run the exahust pipe in to quiet it down. It would not drop much power, but would be a little heavier.

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*
The 46 and 60 both have a glued on intake. It is JB weld. The bond is so strong that in a few cases were an engine was crashed and the intake was knocked off, it took part of the cylinder with it. The cylinders usually use a rubber boot on the intake, but that won't work for our use.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
You will need to lean the low some maybe to get the idle lower. It should do in the 2500 range right away. After some fuel is through it, the idle will drop down. They are tight at first and need break in to run at thier best. After a gallon or 2 they will idle lower in the 1800-2000 range without a problem. I have not been on RCU that much latley. Just no time. It is best to email me directly if you have a question for me. Or even a PM here on RCU. GBR2. If I did not answer your email let me know. I may have missed it. RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
We make the arms to fit a standard Walbro shaft. The shaft on that one is smaller. It will still work, but fits loose until the set screw is tightened.

RE: *Brillelli 26-SSR*
Didn't I send a throttle arm with? A CNC'd alluminum one? It hoohs to the other sode of the carb. Or a steering arm on that side will work. Some people rotate the carb 180deg to move it to the top and avoid the standoffs.

RE: Brillelli 36cc
I just recieved a header I had made for it the other day. The problem is I sent my tuned pipe to Jake, so I need to get a pipe :) I would imagine it will give it some power. For sure make the transition faster, but until I test it I will not know how much.

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*
Joe, What I did on my Yak for the throttle is use a 4-40 steel rod and bend it to get around themount. That way I ket the longer length for better resolution. I know they say do not use steel rod on the throttle, but I use nylon ball links on both ends and have never had a problem. I also do not remove my carb springs. That way if a linkage were to unhook or a servo die, the throttle will pull back to closed.

RE: Who is converting Toro trimmers?
I am not doing the Homelite. Mark Brill is. He does some engines on his own. He is also going to be doing a Husqavarna 25cc. I used the HDA 48 on the G62. Same as they come with from Horizon. The Toro's are getting to be harder and harder to find. I converted over 150 of them. They are a good little engine.

RE: Who is converting Toro trimmers?
If you look at Cummins Tools. they sometimes have Recon Ryobi Pro trimmers. It is the same engine. Also the Redmax weekeater uses the same engine. I guess cummins tools is not somthing else. Here is a link to a Ryobi blower that uses the Toro engine http://www.toolsnow.com/browse.cfm/4,1690.htm And here is the trimmer http://www.toolsnow.com/browse.cfm/4,2178.htm Usually they have them cheaper, but the blower price is not bad.

RE: single cell lipo for ignition
I believe on the Zenoah EI, people are using 2 cell LiPo's because of the high current draw and high capacity battery needed. I am sure there is info on here about it somewere. Jake is correct, the Rc Excell or CH Excell are the only EI units I know of that will run on the single cell lipo. Also the hall sensor has to be the correct one for it to work. All of them I use do, but I do not know about others. Soarrich, with all of the threads on here about different EI and batteries, it is hard to keep it all strait [X(]

i can make a muffler however you need it. I made one for my buddies 50 that was in a profile. It is just a matter of moving the outlet pipe.
