Great selection of pilots thanks for the heads up Unfortunately I wont be buying from them. A 1/4 Pilot - Civilian with Headset Subtotal: $10.76 Shipping & handling : $29.99 Total: $40.75 Shipping is incredibly expensive, its no wonder Hobby King are storming the market.

RE: Hobby King Delivers quickly again
ORIGINAL: flyinwalenda
ORIGINAL: PLANE JIM WOW-I just got the new sales catalog in from HK -I have been looking for a Sullivan Glow Driver 3 cylinder-Tower's price $99.95- HK's price $69.95-I will order for the savings of $30.00 with some other small items I need
This piqued my interest so I contacted Sullivan about it. I received a reply and was told HK is buying this from Sullivan's overseas dist. and selling it below cost. They are only doing it with a few of their products and Sullivan has tried to stop it but due to the fact it is such a small amount overall so far they have been unsuccessful . In other words HK is dumping , skirting any regulatory action, and trying to steal market share from other retailers.
Thanks for the warning, better get an order in quick. Perhaps Sullivan were not giving you the full story They are implying that they sell to a guy in Italy for example, for 70 dollars he sells it as a grey import to HK for say 75 dollars and HK sells it to us for 65 dollars. And by regulatory action do you mean protectionism, "vote free market Republican" in November!

I said "for me" ie that means delevered to me, from China and the USA. Here is a great tip to get even better value fro HobbyKing and thanks for reminding me and others. Select an item and leave the page open for a few moments and they offer you an instant discount so the price of the Sullivan reduces from $69.95 to $65.79. Great eh!!!

Probably enough unless the thing is defective or something goes wrong with the order then that 25 buck difference won't look so good anymore.
For me Tower price In-Stock Items: $ 99.99 International Air: $ 12.11 Subtotal (based on in-stock items only): $112.10 Total Current Charges: $ 112.10 Hobby King Price S062-3 - Sullivan Multi Cylinder Onboard Glow Dri.. $65.79 117 International (Registered) Air Mail 101-200g $5.99 Total $71.78 Or to put it simply Tower is 56.17% more espensive than HK. On a happy note my long lost order which left HK on the 15August arrived yesterday. But I placed two small orders on 21 August both left on 23 August but one arrived on the 30 August and the other hasnt reached me yet. So to get back to the thread title some orders arrive nice and quickly but not all do.

RE: Screwed by HobbyKing
If my item is in a queue to be checked sending emails is not going to speed it up, but that is the decision I have made. I will not be walking away I am just giving a reasonable time to get it sorted, but I have another charger that I am using at the moment so am luck in that regard. If I was Adam I would have replaced the servo (from whatever supplier he choses) so he could enjoy his model while the issue is sorted.

I have a warranty request on a charger going through the system at the monemt, I am not bombarding them with emails I am letting them get on with it. I will not be going away, and after 150 genuine orders if it is not sorted all hell will break loose.

I thought as these units have overload protection which shuts the units down when they come against a stop, you could set them at the correct angle on the ground and they will shut down when they stop in the wheel wells
