RE: Good Mac simulators?
I run parallels on my new 27" imac and real flight 3 runs great. So does the new demo.

RE: FlyZone SkyFly Max OR ParkZone F4F WildCat?
NO worries! Found out the hard way that the Wildcat hates to come in slow for landings. Came in a bit too slow and it nosed in. Broke another cowling, motor mount and stripped the rudder servo. DOH!

I started on the supercub too. Then went to the PZ corsair and then traded a crawler for the wildcat. I have 10 flights or so and love it. Cant say for the other plane you had. I havent flown my corsair in a few months but I think in comparison they are close.

I want the real plane! But at $140,000 I have to settle for the RC for now! Pretty versatile plane, I just wish it had retracts and flaps.

Anyone have any experience with this? Looks to be a good price I might pick one up and then build a gondola for it. [link]http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=14284[/link]

I think I might order one of those chargers too. Thanks again for the link, I just ordered 6 of those batteries. Which is good, I am only getting a minute or two out of my factory one. I never ran it low, as soon as I hear the pulsing I come in and land. Swapped new batts in my charger and same thing. Any ideas?

Just flew my Micro and love it!! I went from the Super Cub to the Corsair to the Mirco Mustang. Selling my Blade CP and, rock crawler and mini Revo. Love my planes way more. I cant believe how much fun this thing is to fly. I can fly it right on my street in front of my house. Landing and Takeoffs are super fun too. Amazing plane!

RE: What's the big deal about rock crawlers?
I saw RC rock crawlers by accident a few years ago and thought they were ridiculous. Everytime I read about them I kept thinking they were boring and stupid. After awhile I noticed I was reading about them a lot. I ended up getting a F350 highlift and modding the hell out of it. My mini revo is fun.... but sitting next to the river with my scaler is a great way to spend the day. The are slow, and rarely break. Its peaceful watching it run.

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf
I travelled 4 hours to see my folks last weekend. In doing so I removed the wing and turned in sideways so I could pack my stuff, my big dumb dog and me into my 2 door Jeep. I put the plane back together, did a control surface check and hand launched it. To my horror it went hard left and nosed in. I found one of the aileron wires unplugged and the tail may have shifted back preventing the elevator from working right. Total damage is broken cowl, cracked motor mount and a crack throu 50% of the main wing. In the process of glueing it back together at the moment. Lesson learned. Check the connections, I guess it came loose as I launched it.

This plane never fails to amaze me!! I am trying to get good at flying inverted. I tried to fly my SuperCub today and crashed twice! I was really missing the power of the F4U. I find its hard to stall as well. I was intimidated by this plane at first. But after a few flights I feel like a pro! SuperCub for sale!

I was getting really brave and diving in for even lower and higher speed passes. Did some outside looks for the first time in my life too. Love this plane!!!

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf
Mad Web, Dont get me wrong. Flying RC is amazing. But flying off a 4000' mountain, thermaling, and sunset flights make paragliding worth the risk. I live in Golden BC Canada, can you imagine the view off the mountains at 10,000 feet? Its mind blowing. I have pushed myself paragliding. Flying in violent and windy conditions. I worked hard to become a competent pilot. That helps when flying RC. My second ever flight on my corsair was in very windy conditions, with high rates! And this is my first aileron plane too. I love flying RC, but the skies are calling. The freedom of flight brings in a huge reward for me. Its been worth the pain and suffering, and lost wages. I regret nothing! I dont drink, smoke or do drugs. But I do enjoy flying! Sorry this link is off topic, but its one of my favorite flights. Enjoy, maybe I will have one of my corsair soon!! RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf
Holy crap what an awesome plane!!! Just flew it for the first time today. Its funny I skydive, paraglide and all that stuff. But I was nervous to fly this plane!!! I tried and rolling take off and tried to abort when i almost hit my jeep. It just came off the ground and hit a parking curb and tore both wheels off. I picked it up and threw it. I was stunned to see how fast this thing was. Wow it covers ground fast, and climbs like mad too!! My supercub would take forever to climb high. This one does it in seconds!! Within five minutes I swapped over to high rates did some inverted flying, loops, rolls, stalls ect. It feels so solid when it flies. I love flying big lazy circles then diving in for a high speed low pass! I was confident real quick its so smooth. I found the motor misleading. It doesnt scream but it pulls really hard. Oh and this plane glides forever with no power! My landing was a bit rough, and because I had no landing gear or skids one of the alerion servos caught and was pulled out. Bent the rod too. Ten minutes and some glue and it looks the same as new! DAMN I LOVE THIS PLANE!! One year old supercub for sale! I have no need for it now!!

Corsair or T28 got some Questions
Been flying my super cub for almost a year and its a blast to fly. I want to upgrade to either the Corsair or the T28. My local hobby store doesnt have the RTF T28 anymore. The BNF plus the radio come to more than the Corsair RTF. I wanted the T28 because I hear its easier to fly. So I was thinking about getting the Corsair RTF and the PNP T28. The battery, charger and radio will work for both right? If so I could start on the trogan and then go to the corsair later. Now my one BIG question, how well do Lipos hold up in the cold? Not anything crazy, but -10c. And colder and my hands freeze up anyway. I might put skis on the trogan, thats how I flew my SC all last winter and loved it! I have never ran Lipos before and wasnt sure how they hold up in the cold. Thanks,

Anyone run skis on any of these? Are lipos ok in the cold? I really want to pull the pin on a 4 channel. Either the T28 or the Corsair.

RE: Do you ever attract a large crowd when flying at the park?!
I usually get 5 people or so. I keep my Super Cub high above them and try to land at my feet so I can pick the plane up quick. Some kid 5 or so was peaved at me for not letting him fly it! I fly on the lake by my house last year and that attracted large crowds. Especially with the skis on it. I am always happy to show them and answer questions. To date I am the ONLY one to fly my cub!
